LOL, that was indeed how I took him. However why don't we see how everything turns out. If Trump actually develops a resort in Gaza then I am wrong. Not that it will be the first time nor last. If he doesn't then I expect these "perfect posters" to repost a correction, as they never have admitted a wrong post. Seems we have two perfect posters here. (of course that is perfect in their own twisted minds) Actually much ado about nothing like most the democratic party happens to be currently. You guys crack me up .. ![]()

Whatever he says he either says it because he is going to do it or he lies about it to his cult base to be admired/adored. The fact that you continue to drink the koolaid is hilarious and its proof on these very threads. He makes his fanbase (like yourself) look very foolish and I enjoy pointing out everytime.
Oh no! Arab money is going to rebuild a Muslim land instead of the USA footing the bill to benefit two million people who hate us! Heavens to Betsy, how could Trump [BLEEP] us this way?!?!?!

You guys crack me up ..You have to understand that Trump has no personality. He doesn't know how to joke, smile or laugh. Have you seen Trump have any sort of humor? You are a piece, of what no one knows. A great mystery which for humanities sake I hope remains unsolved. First, every time Trump brings it up the Arab countries freak out. They move towards getting involved and solving the issue on their selves. The last thing any Arab country wants is a large scale US presence in Gaza. I believe the Iranian leaders had to be resuscitated twice so far. He is making it clear. If the US has to solve this issue they will need to take in these radicalized people from the open air prison they are in and pay for the repairs. If the US is going to spend any money there will need to be return on that investment. You keep mentioning koolaid, personally I do not drink the stuff. To much red dye #40 and other stuff. It does explain a bit why you are how you are however. Have a nice day ... ![]()

Have you seen Trump have any sort of humor? 1) Iran is not an Arab country. 2) Most Arab countries already have US military presence in them and it's not high on their list of concerns either way. There is a mythology in many of these countries that their reason to exist as independent countries is to help their Palestinian brothers liberate their land. Some of them accept Israel's right to exist in some of the land formerly know as Palestine, but none of them are ready to accept moving additional Palestinians off of traditionally Palestinian land at this time, even after all the war. The idea of it goes against too much of what they've believed about themselves and been fighting for all this time. In Lebanon and Jordan they have Palestinian camps that have become permanent settlements over the 70 years but the government still tells them, "this is not your home, do not mix with us, be prepared to leave when we finally make the Israelis give you a permanent place to live."

If the US has to then we will need a return on our investment. You do not know how they feel. Quit pretending you do.

At the end of WWI, Turkey gave up their claim to the countries between modern Turkey and modern Saudi Arabia. The areas now know as Lebanon and Syria appeared on maps as "the French Mandate of Syria" and the areas now known as Jordan, Palestine, and Israel appeared on maps as "the British Mandate of Palestine." The Kingdom of Israel was conquered by the Assyrians in 720 BC. Most of the major prophets did not live there. Most of them lived in a separate Kingdom called Judea. Judea continued to be the name as the area was first dominated by the Babylonians, then the Selucids and Ptolemies, then the Romans. After Emperor Titus destroyed Jerusalem, he banished all Jews from the province of Judea and renamed the province Palaestina. It kept that name for the next 1878 years. The Arabs took over and brought in Islam as the dominant religion. They also invited Jews back to the area but only as a second class minority. Many Jews accepted this arrangement and many Christians also adapted peacefully to this second class status. The name of the area remained Palaestina or as the Arabs transliterated it, Filasteena. The name "Israel" would not appear on maps again until 1948. That's a gap of 2,667 years. As for your prescription, it would be nice if the Arabs would solve this problem for themselves. They have little motivation to do so, though. The ones with the power to really move the pieces on the board are Egypt and the GCC, and they have no reason to put themselves out like that. Israel isn't bombing them and isn't threatening to bomb them. Which brings out another layer. Our recent face to face negotiations with Hamas seem to be exposing that Israel has been trying to return to war. Israel has de-facto aligned with the rich Arab countries, and their interests diverge sharply from those of poor Arab countries and those of Palestinians.

Mike if you speak nicely I am sure someone on the board will buy you a one way ticket there to defend Hamas.

I look at the big picture this way. If the countries cannot settle squabbles on their own and need us to breakup their fights. If they depend on us giving them money and do not want to pay the same tariffs they charge us they are not our friends. They are our children and should be treated as such.
Right now they are spoiled little brats.

I'm just correcting your history. Israel was not a place on a map from 720 BC to 1948 AD. That doesn't mean Hamas, or anyone else, should annihilate it. I support Israel's right to exist and defend itself wholeheartedly.

Nice to hear your stance on Israel. The Jewish people have lived there all that time. Now, where is the map that shows a nation called Palestine?
