Honestly, it's not a bad idea for a meme. The problem is not the idea The problem is that it accentuates the general sentiment on the left that Democratic leaders are more about optics than results. If these people were truly seen as staunch advocates for their base, the younger generation (who is moving away from dems), would probably support it. Unfortunately for dems, they are seen as all talk, so making a "choose your fighter" meme, holding up signs at the state of the union, and wearing pink just highlights the fact that aren't actually doing anything meaningful for the people.

I was thinking the same thing.  He is either a Troll or so dense and so indoctrinated that he cannot be reached.

I personally know people who hate trump so much that their hate blinds them.  Trump could create world peace, cure all diseases, make every American Happy, and they would still hate him.  Some are too indoctrinated in their belief system or just plain stupid.  With TDoss it's a mixture of both. I find him more of a joke and just laugh at the idiots trying to argue with the person.

When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

I wish my in-laws could see this. They are democrats of the past and for reasons I can't understand they refuse to see the party for what it's become.

My FIL has always said he didn't like Republican party "because the rich man never did anything for me" which is complete BS because he worked for a telephone company his whole adult life (after returning from Vietnam) and guess who started that company that employs thousands of people? A rich man. When I point that out to him he doesn't have an argument so he blows it off.

At this point I don't care to talk about it with him but it frustrates me that he's willfully ignorant of the party he votes for and back in November told my husband (who is Republican) that he cancelled out my husband's vote. Neither of us find it humorous.

You might begin with the vast majority of large corporations are controlled by old money rich Democrats. They want low wages to pay their employees, basic supply and demand. This is the reason they do nor mind open borders. This is beginning to change a bit now as all the theft, lawlessness is beginning to effect their bottom line.

He's 76/77 years old. I don't think anything will change his mind at this point.
