Upon Engram getting injured and being out of the starting lineup, Strange stepped in and got Stronger n Stronger. Especially in the run game. I foresee Strange blossoming in both the Pass and Run categories to which is why I feel that Engram was released, other than his salary cap figure. As most have said, the new regime's offensive scheme is more tailored to the run game to which we've revamped the OL and TE groups in FA already. It's going to be interesting to watch Liam's plan unfold.

Time Will Tell.

Wish him well but really he was getting injured. Also age does that to you. And need players who can start week one and be there for up to a decade.
Ready for May Day, May Flowers, and Memorial and Mother's Day!

Strange came on in his absence towards the end of last season.  We got nothing behind him though.  I like the idea of moving on from overpaid FA's from the Doug/Baalke regime though.  I feel worse about losing Kirk over Engram.. and how in the heck is Gabe Davis still on the roster after last season?  Ugh..

I like what Strange did vs the Jets, but he didn’t come on too much, towards the end of the season.

Strange from Week 11 to Week 18

Week 11 - 1 catch
Week 12 - bye
Week 13 - 1 catch
Week 14 - 1 catch
Week 15 - 11 catches
Week 16 - 2 catches
Week 17 - 0 catches
Week 18 - 4 catches

To this I Concur. I also agree that The 2024 Offensive Scheme wasn't built around Blocking TEs. The new scheme is surely built as such hinse our 2025 FA signings at the position.
