He was lying, or being unethical. I don't know which of those two it was, but I know it was one of those two. It's just logic.
Imagine you told me that there are three points out in the universe, and I said, "those three points either form a line or a triangle." Then you argued, "how can you know that? I didn't tell you where the three points are. How can you tell me that I am wrong when you are ignorant?"
That's the corner you've backed yourself into. How's the view?

You're right! That's why all along I've allowed for a second possibility, which is, it's true, but he's unethical if it's true.

No, no, no. You don't get to declare that only two options exist.

It's a free country I can declare what I want.
Just like you can declare I'm wrong.
Yawn.
Now if you actually wanted to do something interesting, you could propose a hypothetical scenario that doesn't fit in the "he's lying" or "he's unethical" categories I've laid out.  If you were able to do that, you'd actually *prove* I'm wrong, which sounds more fun and interesting than merely declaring it.

The Minnesota GOP called.  They're researching TDS to determine if it's learned behavior or a genetic predisposition and would like a sample of your brain tissue.

Wow, a world where a political party actually wants to do science instead of ignoring it, or claiming science has already solved everything if we would only just listen, that world sounds way nicer than the world we actually have...

LOL that is pretty accurate. This is the reason I bowed out of continuing a circular conversation with him.  There is only one correct option, his opinion. It is just his MO. He is here to convince us he is right and no other reason.

You know, there is a psychological term for what he suffers from....... It's Narcissistic personality disorder...... I'm no therapist of psychologist but...... as someone that's been in and out of therapy since 1995, you could say I've learned a few things......

Lol no. First of all, you can't diagnose over the text.  You can't even diagnose over television.  People want to diagnose celebrities and politicians based on what they see on TV and you just can't do that. So you especially can't diagnose me based on what I write.
Second of all, I've gone through screenings in therapy, and that one has not come up as a match.
Have you not been paying attention all the times that I have tried to ask you to get back on the original topic and stop talking about me? I usually say something like "guys, I'm not that interesting."

You've done so repeatedly with Trump.  Are you now admitting you were wrong to do so?

The topic of this thread is a bill in the Minnesota legislature about TDS, yet you're focused on a therapist's opinion that 90% of his patients are liberal.

That's one thing we can agree on.

We've all called Trump a narcissist in a generic sense, but I have never attempted to diagnose him with any kind of personality disorder, not even dementia. I have predicted he would do certain bad things but that's not the same as psychologically diagnosing him. You're misremembering things.

And yes, I'm focused on a thing that has nothing to do with this thread and also isn't about me.  That might be a sign of some sort of psychological disorder, but not narcissism.

LOL.  You just did.  You're now attempting to minimize your comments by suggesting it's a unanimous sentiment, but the opinions of others are irrelevant to your own expressions.

Of course you can, and as always when you do you're mostly wrong. Nothing new there.

Narcissism and narcissistic personality disorder are two different, related things. Narcissism is an impulse most people have.  That becomes a personality disorder when you can't ignore it and it prevents you from having healthy personal and professional relationships.

Anti-Trump sentiment and TDS are two different things.  Anti-Trump sentiment is an impulse most Democrats have.  It becomes a disorder when it prevents someone (mikesez, for example) from having an objective and rational discussion about anything political.
