He was poop. He had the poo on him.

Didn’t he get into an argument with Trevor Lawrence last season on the sideline that kind of blew up? I still think the jags need one more reliable wr at the bottom of the group.

Gladstone has some huge stones.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

I just hope etn gets a chance to work with the new coaching staff. I’d like to see if that can could be something special. As far as Davis, that was a disaster.

Has to be a post June 1st cut, right?
Also feels odd they couldn't even trade him for even a 7th round pick somewhere.

EDIT: Okay, reports are now that it is post June 1st so this makes sense now.

Davis is now up there with some of the worst Free Agent signings in Jaguars history. Drayton Florence, Hugh Douglas, Jerry Porter, Gabe Davis.

No one was trading for him with the contract he had.

Making it a post 6/1 cut may help with cap this year, but it pushes almost $15 million to next year.

Should have just kept him on the roster and seen how he approached the season. Make him bottom of the WR group and treat him like a rookie. If he doesn't like it, he can quit or the Jags can fine him and put him on some list. I doubt his ego would take it as the veteran PS player each week. Make him play special teams.

Do people give Julius Thomas a pass or is it an example of how effin forgettable he was?

Poop and Poo, while used in this context are technical terms can be hard for the layman to understand.

Now if you put the word "Deck" in front of one you have something. The same can be said for putting the other after "Whinny the" and it will give you the level of play we saw last year.

Nah, they've got over $50 million on cap space for next year before they do anything else and Davis isn't healthy so you'll just be paying him more to be on IR. He's taking up almost $15 of the just over $20 million spend there next year, so eat it now while the receiver room is very inexpensive and move on.

Agreed, the only thing I can guess is their was a chance he would be ready to go for the season. If he had been they would hold on for one year using him as filler. I do not believe he would have been used any other way in 2025. They wouldn't take the reps away from the others, so go give someone healthy a chance at the plate. There must have been a medical update that pushed him to November.

It might also be that the draft didn't fall where a receiver to replace him was viable and they were keeping him as a backstop. It was just never going to work out for Davis here because he's just a middling player and a bad signing overall. Baalke was trying to replicate his success with the Zay Jones signing and it backfired.

Kampman is Paup-lite, Foles couldn't catch a break except the one he actually caught. We could probably do a second foursome and include the other luminaries discussed, but I think my four are the absolute worst of them. Heck, the way it's gone the last 20 years we could probably put 12 names on the mountain.

Kampman
Foles
Florence
Ross
Odrick
Hyde
Gerhardt
Porter
