The Colts are a terrible organization.

Quote:Yet you continue to come to an opposing teams forum to talk trash as if anyone values your opinion. If the Jaguars and the Jaguar fans are an afterthought, why do you care so much? Who said I care so much? Quite frankly I don't care at all. I find it hilarious that Jag fans think the Colts are such a mess, yet... we win constantly. It bleeds with jealous. It's humorous. Also, when I first joined this forum I actually was able to have knowledgable football talk with Jag fans. Those people seemed to have left and then you get people like Tommy, haterade, & badger (trolls, dingbats). Lately (as in the past year) all Jag fans do is flame me, so I'm going to fire back.

Let me go back to my point then, if Jag fans are trolls or dingbats, there is no reason to come back. I gave my honest opinion of him just before the post you responded to. There are at least 10 qb's in the league right now that I would pick over Andrew Luck to lead my team. He will get you to the playoffs, at some point with a good defense, maybe even win a Super Bowl. I just know when we play the Colts, we typically have a shot now.

Not all Jag fans are dingbats (you're not), but there are many that are now. Also, what makes you think you have a shot now when playing the Colts with Andrew Luck? You won the first game, but the last 3 were absolute blowouts. Not even close. And obviously IMO, there are not 10 QBs better than Luck. Quote:Because I didn't say he is an amazing football player does not mean I am not acknowleding his abilities. Like I said he is a slightly above average qb in the league. I think most Colt fans thought he was going to come into the league and throw up Peyton Manning like numbers. You really thought most Colt fans thought a rookie was going to put up the same type of numbers as that of a 15-year Hall of Fame QB? Really? You would have thought that if the Jaguars had drafted Luck? Really?

Most Colt fans are just as blind to their hometown team as Jag fans are. In the past two years, has Luck reminded you one bit of Peyton Manning? We show less advertisements to registered users. Actually, on the Colts forums they compare Luck's first and second year to Manning's first and second year. This is a fair comparison rather than comparing Luck in year two to Manning now, (despite a slight difference adjusted for the new passing ere--even though Manning was part of the reason for this pass crazy era that we are in). At this point, the stats show that Luck is ahead of Manning after two years.
Year three will be telling because that is when Manning really improved and became at top-tier QB.

I get the comparison in the first and second year, but for some reason I dont have the feeling that Luck is going to have the statistical jump Manning ever did. Manning's passes are extremely accurate, and I dont feel like Luck has that in him.
It's very likely that Luck may never reach the heights that Manning reached as a QB; however, at every level thus far, Luck has outperformed Manning. What I mean by that is if you compare their college numbers, Luck's are better:
Manning: 62.5 Completion %, 8.1 Y/A, 89TDs, 33 INTs, 147.1 Rating Luck: 67 Completion %, 9.5 Y/A, 82 TDs, 22 INTs, 162.8 Rating And as mentioned earlier, Luck's first two years in the NFL are more favorable to Manning's so there are some indicators that show that if Luck continues this trajectory, he could be a top-tier QB. A lot depends on how well he does this year. Let's also not forget that Luck is far more mobile than Manning and that attribute--the ability to create on the run-- is an intangible with a value that's hard to measure.

For what it's worth I value his opinions on his team. Even if he is a bit biased he's not going full Carr Bombed by proclaiming every Texans player to be the second coming of Football Christ after one game. Speaking of Carr Bombed, I kind of miss that guy.

My argument was based on pure facts, and I'm not the only one who thinks you guys haven't improved much under Grigson and Andrew Luck is an average QB at the moment. It's your choice to either recognize that or just blindly deny it. Quote:I think Bridgewater at 3 is better value than Mack at 3, yes. <div> LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. Clown. </div>
