Ode to "Let's talk about"

Quote:yea I'm trying to keep the garden organic"ish" I don't mind using chemicals but I just don't know enough about them to feel safe about it. Our plan is to supplement most of our grocery bill within the next 2 years with what we will grow in our own "backyard" (1 1/2 acre farm basically) So I'd just hate to start off on the wrong foot and put something in the ground that would either contaminate or kill my garden.

At the end of the day they're still living in Cleveland. But at least they can swear on their MB. So they've got that going for them, which is nice.

Yup   :yucky:

I'm not a vinegar fan.  I can tolerate it in small doses if it blends with something else that's tasty.  That's why I don't particularly like Carolina bbq.  A buddy of mine took me to a fantastic restaurant in South Carolina and the vinegar smell of the sauce was almost overpowering.  I filled up on the wonderful buffet items.  I don't think anyone noticed that I didn't have any of the bbq.

I can understand people not liking pickles.  They almost assault the palate, but I like 'em.

Now people not liking chocolate, there's one I can never understand.

I've watched my father tilt a bottle of apple cider vinegar straight up and take a huge pull off of it.  It almost makes me shudder to think about it.
