New York Times article on Jameis Winston

I've never covered up a rape, so... I'm not a hypocrite

You really think I'm the only one? The New York Times is read by a lot of people.

You are a hypocrite criticizing FSU fans when you did the same thing just opposite side of the spectrum. You called him a rapist many times just because we are your rival. That is sick.

Quote:What does that even mean? We would need more to the story then that.

What it means is Jameis likes it rough ... Too rough

Quote:That's fine. Im the bad guy.

I'm clearly the reason people immediately jump to the defense of their favorite football stars no matter the accusation.

Tony Montana, is that you?

Yeah, I think it's sick to do so just to get underneath FSU fans skin. Maybe that's just me.

Apparently you were with him on both occasions. It wasn't rape and she didn't say no.

Why should we jump to defend someone who has lied throughout the whole saga?

It really doesn't matter what you do. It matters what the university did. They chose to drag their feet. That is the part that should bother people. Also the TPD should bother people.

What exactly do you want the university to do? It happened off campus.

The district attorney came out on national television and reported that they had no prior relationship.

Quote:

The athletic department had known early on that Mr. Winston had been accused of a serious crime. According to an internal Tallahassee police email on Jan. 23, 2013, one officer wrote that Officer Angulo’s backup on the case “received a call from the Athletic Directors Assistant inquiring about the case.”

This knowledge should have set off an inquiry by the university. According to federal rules, any athletic department official who learns of possible sexual misconduct is required to pass it on to school administrators. Florida State declined to respond when asked if top officials, including the university president, had been informed of the encounter.

“Why did the school not even attempt to investigate the matter until after the football season?” said John Clune, another lawyer for the accuser.

I'm forming my opinion on everything I've read. I'm sorry if I don't believe someone who has changed stories as many times as she has. She's a liar in my eyes.

1. She initially said the guy who raped her was 5'10 with straight hair. Then a month later it was a 6'4 guy who didn't have straight hair. She left Pots with Jameis and he took her home after they had sex. I guess most people ride home with their rapist after it takes place?

2. The girl was a well known sorority skank who chased athletes. Why would Jameis need to rape her?

None of her story adds up because she is FOS. No charges were pursued because she's FOS. You can continue to side with her though because you are a woman and so is she.

Yes, I didn't pretend it was a fact. It's a different animal if I say or present gossip as fact. There was a lot of gossip going on when the crap hit the fan.
