Quote:I haven't watched wrestling for awhile. Last time I watched, the characters were kind of bland and generic, minus CM Punk. Sad to hear undertaker is retiring, but he's been past his prime for years now.

Yeah the Stunner really took off when he started doing faster. In the beginning it was really slow. The characters now are much more developed because of NXT. The wrestling today is not even close. Especially the former NXT guys like Bray, Bryan, Barrett, Bo Dallas(Bray's real life brother) and even Paige(New Diva's Champion and the only one who can come close to AJ)

Quote:The "Attitude Era" is what I am speaking of. It is the best ever. Most agree that was mid 90's to early 2000's. I think it started a bit earlier then that myself. 92/3ish.
Well then we are arguing about nothing lol. TMD said the best era was the 80's and I thought that's what you were referring to.

Attitude Era is what I grew up with and even now I still feel it was the best era of wrestling. Especially with the Monday night wars. That forced both companies to up their game.

Oh, we are on the same page. I grew up watching from around 85 or so until about 1999/2000. No question the attitude era was the best. I can remember flipping back and forth between WWF and WCW. Good times.

Right now I find the long drawn out Daniel Bryan story was cool. I'm definitely digging the Wyatt Family as well as The Shield.

I got much respect and admiration for John Cena, but his act is old. I'd never boo em, but dude's gotta like take a break for a year or something,
