I dunno, I can see different posting styles from different posters. 

 

Some MPD's can be very convincing..

1) TMD craps on whatever the team does, unless they picked the guy he wanted.  Then he only slightly hammers them for every other pick.

 

2) Crazy returns in some form and says the Jags are the worst team ever and everything they do is awful.

 

3) JaguarsWoman posts something that is completely obvious and acts like she's a genius for figuring it out.

 

4) People who wanted player A talk about how great of a draft was had by the team that picked him.

 

5) People who wanted the guy the Jaguars picked claim to have "called it".

 

6) Casual fans of the team post tons of youtube links to highlights of the first few picks, thinking no one has ever watched them before.

 

7) Other casual fans watch the videos and get really excited about the player(s), having never seen their highlight reel before.

 

8) Armchair QBs post walls of text about how each player will fit into the system and predict approximately 20% of the team changing positions.

 

9) Approximately two dozen "Predict the opening day depth chart" threads go up.

 

10) Approximately one dozen "*** OFFICIAL Predict the opening day depth chart ***" threads go up.

 

11) 2015 Mock Drafts go up.  The guys who hated the first round pick have the Jaguars picking first overall next year.

 

12) The inevitable Tebow Thread.

Last draft we had a thread go 20+ pages in about a week about how the Jaguars messed up by not taking Matt Barkley in the 4th round.

 

Dr. Football nailed it. But adding on:

 

-People get overly excited about UDFAs (Matt Scott, Ricky Stanzi, etc.)

-People immediately grade the draft, as if any of us know how it will pan out.

-People vent about could have having (insert FA name here) instead of reaching for (insert draft pick here).
