Quote:Interesting information on Ted:

http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/cfb/3...at-188-lbs

Wonderlics were just released, and Ted was only six points higher than Garrard with a 20.

A lot of folks repeat the "trust the tape" mantra as well.  But...

http://nfl.si.com/2014/04/09/jimmy-garop...nfl-draft/

Add to that Mayock's revelation that when he went back to look at tape after Ted's poor Pro Day, he was not impressed (he had done little or no tape study on Ted prior to then, but was mostly following the herd.)  So, IMO this "NFL ready" talk has been a bit premature and perhaps misguided.

Neither have I.  What did you think I meant about being "wrong?"  I was referring to my opinion being wrong about Ted, that I don't believe we would or should take him as high as #3.

Why do you believe that? Because you don't think he is worth it. Thats fine, but you don't make the pick. You're in no position to know if the man in charge agrees with you.

I don't see the fuss about Watkins, I wouldn't draft him at 3, do I think Dave Caldwell shares my opinion? No idea, but if I said we won't draft him at 3 because in my very humble opinion he doesn't look like a game changer, I'd rightly be told I'm an idiot.

See the difference?

I've already said that, and we've already discussed this.  Your trolling of my every Ted post is getting more than old.

I told you I'd be more than willing to admit I was wrong if Dave picks Ted at #3, and you met that post with an insult as you've typically done lately.

Yes, Dave's got the call and I don't.  I've said that all along as well.  And I've also said I'm on board if that's where Dave goes.

That's probably a bombshell to you, but if you'd drop your poor attitude towards me and start listening to what I actually have to say for a change then you probably wouldn't have missed it.  Go ahead, it's all still there if you care to look for it.  But if you don't and instead decide to drop the nasty attitude, that's welcome, too.

Lol....... The "Teddy Bridgewater is an RGIII/Luck type prospect" camp is flailing. These guys refuse to admit that maybe they over-valued him 7 months ago. There is no shame in that, as none of us are professional scouts, but there is shame in this whole "but.... but.... but.....!" routine.

Quote:I have yet to see a single Mock Draft updated anytime since the season began that has Clowney going number one. Feel free to show me examples of these from prominent mockers.
I remember this guy lol.  I hope he didnt commit suicide

Quote:My fear is losing out on Bridgewater, who is clearly a bona-fide franchise guy like the 2 you mentioned....and Caldwell will then reach for one of the scraps and pretend he's our franchise QB, but there will clearly be a step down from Teddy.
Its ok, we are picking in the top 10 so we didnt lose out on him.

On a serious note, Atkins, AJ and another all pro wont make the Bengals any more than a first/2nd round exit.
