49ers looking to trade into the top 5?

#41

Quote:Most realistic offer would be swap 2014 1sts + 2015 first + 2 2nd round in 2014. Thats just a tiny bit more than the CLE ATL trade.

# 30 - Sua Filo

# 39 - Attaochu/Marcus Smith

# 56 - DeVante Adams

# 61 - Martin/Richburg

tradeup into late 2nd - Fales

That would be awesome but unlikely.
FALES SUCKS

If any1 takes him before the 7th round they are wasting a pick.

Quote:Completely agree.  Some people find it fun to see how many picks you could stockpile, but the reality is you don't want too many rookies on the field at the same time.  History shows they will be exposed.
Picks are gold, so they would be used to maneuver throughout the draft IMO

Quote:That's cute, but seriously? Not 1 RB?
Gerthart + Todman is fine, don't need a RB in the draft at all.

I like our lil stable too (Robinson looked kinda big in that Jaguars 365 video too btw) but I wouldn't mind Dave drafting that kid they brought in from LSU. We will draft a RB I'm sure.

Plus we have Rackley and Nowak.  I see 1, but no need in using 2 draft picks on guards

Quote:To make it a little more do'able for the 49ers...

Jags trade #1-3 to Tampa Bay (taking WR Sammy Watkins), receive picks #1-7, #2-38, and a 2015 2nd round selection.

Jags trade #1-7 to 49ers (taking WR Mike Evans), receive picks #1-30, #2-56, #2-61, and #3-94.

 I'll

Jags now have:

1-30 (sf)

2-38 (tb)

2-39

2-56 (sf)

2-61 (sf)

3-70

3-94 (sf)

4-105

4-114 (bal)

5-144

5-150 (det)

5-159 (bal)

6-179

6-205 (sf)

7-222

Plus 2015 Rd 2 selection (tb)

....now this would fill some holes quite nicely.

One thing about this scenario: it would be interesting to see how many times ESPN would cut to commercial or interview someone from another team.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

I'd be all over those proposals.  And it would seem (based on Gabbert) that Caldwell and 49's GM have a good relationship.

1. what makes you believe that Adams will still be available at pick 56?

2. Fales sucks.
