Quote:Idk. Maybe he does. My family is small, so it hurts/sucks that him and I aren't close or even talk. I see big families that get together often and enjoy hanging out with each other and I'm envious of that.
I'm from a big family and there's siblings of mine that I haven't seen in years, nor do I want to. All families have some drama. But if you're going to call someone, don't do it until the next morning, after the hangover wears off. Also, obsessing about it only hurts you, not him...

Ain't it a cruel joke?

I've got a strong feeling that the golf and beer yesterday will be a lot more enjoyable than anything I do at work this week.

Just guessing. I could be wrong.

I know what you mean.

I had a blast working the grill and smoker this weekend. This stupid computer has more functionality but I'd much rather be working that other piece of equipment

I just had some serious coffee and I'm ready to wrestle a bear.

What kind of grill/smoker/BBQ does everyone use?

My propane BBQ is a Char Broil Tru-Infared, although I'm not sure what's so Infared about it. I like it though. Quick and easy. I have a little Weber Q that I can haul around pretty easy too.

Sounds like mine. I usually go out a lot though. Once in a while I'll get a wild hair up there and decide to grill something.. I like propane, but I like charcoal too. I like that crisp charcoal taste of steak on the sides..

Depending on the cut, I like medium rare-rare..

I used to have one of those little round Weber charcoal grills that I liked to use until someone finally stole it. No charcoal no more though. Now I just start a wood fire and BBQ on that if the mood strikes. I have a few BBQs like that.

Also a rare, medium rare type. Hell, I'll eat them pretty purple even - only got sick a few times too haha.

Steaks no longer have blood in them. The red comes from an artificial pigment they add because no-one likes gray meat.

the popular steakhouse lingo is "Black and Blue"

Singed on the outside over high heat - but very rare in the center. All the flavor locked in tight.

It's my favorite.

I'll have to remember that NYC, thanks. What's your place in NY? I tried Sammy's and Luger's while I was there. I think I preferred Sammy's though!

Note to self: that brand of coffee is for morning use only.

I feel like I've been interrogated in some bad spy move. The florescent light over the stalls in the men's room has been flickering since yesterday.

Why were you in a bathroom stall overnight?
