Oregon at Washington could be interesting. UW gave Stanford all they could handle.

Give them a few years and they should be rock solid. Quote:Oregon at Washington could be interesting. UW gave Stanford all they could handle.UW is a big surprise this year. Fun to watch. Y'all talked me into it, gotta add em.

Anyway, I want to see Franklin, the QB from Missouri. I feel like that Georgia Defense is getting by on smoke and mirrors, and Missouri has had a decent passing attack for a while now. That should be a fun matchup to watch. Somehow, I think LSU will simply "out-athlete" Florida in that game. I think it will be close for a bit, then I just expect LSU to pull away. Two other games I'm interested in is Rutgers vs. Louisville and Oklahoma vs. Texas. I expect Louisville to win, but it would be good to see somebody at least challenge Louisville and we'll see if Mack Brown has lost his team by how hard they play in their big rivalry game.
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

LSU's new found passing game against Florida's secondary will be an interesting match up.

You asked why you ever care about any of the games and then comment on two of them. Interesting. Quote:I think his last statement, "if only to me," speaks volumes... Easy man, your whoosh system is about to activate. I think I've posted that same line, or something similar to it, in just about every one of TravC's "games of interest" threads. It's just a harmless joke I have.

I would say another weak slate of games. But we are almost halfway through the season and it doesn't seem to be getting much better. We have some great matchups like Stanford-Oregon, FSU-Clemson and LSU-Bama to look forward to but overall it is a pretty mediocre year.

I never filled this out this week.... was recovering all week from my trip to Nashville last weekend. both nights was out past 4AM. ugh. not as young as I used to be. and im headed back next weekend too. anyways my teams...
Vandy - bye. sorely needed UGA vs Mizzou - game just started. UGA is missing their top 2 RBs and top 3 WRs. I think Murray is good enough to overcome this. But Mizzou's offense is strong. And if it turns into a shoot out, you have to like Mizzou's odds with all of UGA's weapons on the sidelines. other games.... great games this week... LSU vs UF - Lots of good storylines aside from the fact that its an important game in the conference race. Want to see how Mettenberger looks against another solid defense. Ive said before, his stock is gonna keep going up. UDub vs Oregon - another big game for UDub. Played Stanford tough. Could be a harder time tonight. Oregon's offense hasnt slowed down much. UDub's defense looks strong but not sure htey are good enough. Texas vs OU - Red river. Mack Brown's job on the line. SC at Ark - Hogs have been tough to read so far. Gave away the Rutgers game. Played A&M tougher than you would have though. But didnt show up against Florida. 3rd tough game in a row. Wonder how they will be able to hang. ANd then of course there is the Clowney drama. A&M at Ole Miss - Which Rebels team shows up? Theyll need their offense to wake up or else Johnny Football will run them out of the place. Stanford at Utah - Cardinal may need to watch out here. Utah had UCLA beat. And Stanford coming off a big win last week. Northwestern at Wisconsin - WIsconsin is good and Northwestern coming off difficult loss. Badgers could blow them out if Wildcats arent careful. Michigan at Penn St - Im interested to see how Penn St QB will look. Ive got him on our radar three years from now. Oregon St at Wash St - a sneaky good game here. Wash St starting to look good under Leach. Two losses at Auburn and vs Stanford which is nothing to sneeze at. Georgia Tech at BYU - I saw Tech's slide begin against VaTech a couple thursdays ago. Flying all the way to Provo. To good running teams that go about it completely differently. Boise St at Utah St - Boise has two losses? Once they get their first loss of the season, they just fall off the national radar. Utah St has played some good teams tough. Boise could get their 3rd loss if not careful. Louisville/Rutgers - came already happened thursday night. Was hoping Teddy would look a little better but still a good game. ________________________________________________ Scouting well is all that matters. Draft philosophy is all fluff. |
