I know they aren't carbon copies of each other, but if Gus has say in the next QB, I could easily see Manziel being the Jags pick. I think Gus sees some Russell Wilson in Johnny football.

What you've said in the past goes toward the credibility of the poster today.  When you're a poster who throws stuff out there that is simply intended to cover all your bases so you can tell everyone how smart you are down the road, and you state your opinion as if it's fact, portraying yourself as the smartest person on the board, you're inviting the scrutiny.

 

I wouldn't doubt the rumor has legs. (that the Eagles would like to move Foles while he actually has peak value) 

 

Nick Foles is so overrated and even the Eagles know it. But some on the board act like he's as good as his fluke numbers last season.

So, it was a fluke for Foles, but when it was Garrard posting an over the top td:int ratio, that was elite?  I guess you have to shape facts to fit your schtick no matter what the topic might be.

 

I agree, also, if teams believe Manziel is worth moving up for, the Jaguars would likely take him at 3.

 

Just because some debunked rumor indicates a team is interested in moving up to get Manziel, that doesn't mean he's worth taking at 3.  That's a big gamble for a franchise that needs to be absolutely certain about the pick.

I love Sammy Watkins, I just have a feeling they're going to take someone at 3 that hasn't been mocked to us a 1,000,000 times already.  

 

I don't want Watkins at 3. He's not even as good as AJ Green or Julio....and I'm not sure I'd have selected either one of them top 3. 

 

As said, the only type of WR I'm selecting with a pick as high as top 3 is a WR like Megatron.

I don't believe he's a franchise guy.  I don't believe there IS a franchise guy at QB in this draft.  I see a lot of solid QBs who all have flaws that detract from their ability to be "the guy" here.

Thats fine with me too. However, Cleveland or Oakland scare me more with Manziel than they do Bridgewater. Manziel is a ticket seller/ hype guy and those 2 franchises need that in addition to simply needing a QB. Manziel accomplishes both.

And if he falls on his face at the next level because of the flaws in his game, it's going to happen in Cleveland or Oakland.  If that is who you're competing with for his services, based on their track records, that would make him even less appealing.

 

Throw Dallas in the mix as well for Manziel.  If Jerry Jones is coveting a player, I'm not sure that's a guy I want.

He's definitely not AJ Green, but I believe he's better than Julio Jones. Jones wasn't very durable at Alabama (he's not durable now), he also had problems with drops, and was known more as a vertical threat than a complete receiver, now he's obviously turned into a great player, but Watkins (Imo) is a better prospect than what Jones was coming out.

If Foles' does it again, I won't believe what I am seeing, but at that point, I'd have to start to give him more credit, I guess.
