I dont see 3 a major reach if you think he is 10 overall.  If the team really likes him and doesnt think the others are worth the 3 spot, why not take Watkins?  If there isnt a trade offer worth it

It's only a major reach for a player projected to go in the top five if you're TMD.  Of course, it only applies to players TMD deems unworthy.  Bridgewater is sliding down the boards to the point where some are projecting him as a 2nd round prospect, but that didn't stop glitter boy from reaching for him at #3 in the glitter mock draft.

1984  - Irving Fryar, good player but worth 1st overall or even top 5? Debatable for top 5, flat out no for 1st overall.

1995 - Michael Westbrook, bust

 

1996 - Keyshawn Johnson, dunno if "bust" but big time disappointment for top 5, let alone 1st overall where he went

 

2000 - Peter Warrick, bust

2003 - Charles Rogers, bust

2003 - Andre Johnson, STUD

2004 - Larry Fitz, STUD

2005 - Braylon Edwards, overall? bust. 1 year wonder. 

2007 - Megatron, STUD

2011 - AJ Green, STUD

 

2012 - Blackmon, INC. 

 

note, Tim Brown was actually picked 6th overall, I initially thought top 5.
