Final predictions?

What is your final prediction on who and What jaguars are gonna do with 1st rd selection. I'm gonna predict wr Sammy Watkins at 3. I'd love to trade down but i'm not buying recent rumors and I trust that David caldwell isn't going to reach for Qb. There's about 6.30 hours till 2014 NFL Draft.

Watkins @ 3 and a move up from 39 to grab a QB in the top of the second or very bottom of round 1.

OL, DB, DL addressed with the next 4 picks. And a late round QB.

Do you have a qb in mind for rd 2. I like idea of Aaron Murray in rd 3 and then a 6 or 7th rd qb like Shaw or Brett Smith or Fales if he falls.

I don't like Morris but if we get him in 6th or 7th i'd be ok with it. Jedd Fisch knows him good from days at Miami.

I like a move up for a guy like Bridgewater if he falls, even though I'm not a huge Bridgewater fan, it was more as a top 10 prospect.

I actually have more of a preference with Mettenberger. I don't think he lasts to the 3rd and we may need to move ahead of any team that needs a QB in round 2 for anyone that Caldwell might be interested in.

Whoever that may be, I think his plan is trade back from 3 if the price is right. Otherwise he gets a playmaker out of Wakins that'll surely help Henne (or a rookie QB). And then he targets his guy that he thinks will be available around pick 28-33. Could be Garrappolo could be Carr... whoever it is, thats the move I think he makes. Watkins, QB, depth and "competition" C, G, DE, DB, QB for the next rounds, hoping to nab a starter from C/G

Probably gonna be Mathews at 3.. He has experience playing RT and he's a safe pick. I just can't see Dave taking a WR or LB, both non premium positions, at 3..
10 years ago we had Bob Hope, Johnny Cash, and Steve Jobs..... Please don't die, Kevin Bacon.

Definitely Mack. I would love a trade down for Barr but it seems like no one is willing to give up much to trade up.

I think its Manziel. What sealed it in my mind was this:

1) Dave Caldwell basically saying Manziel is the only guy you can start sooner rather than later.

2) A "rumor" that Johnny would prefer not to play for JAGS. To me that says teams know the Jags are taking him, but someone is hoping they will change their mind if they feel Johnny doesn't want to be there. Which we all know is false since Johnny has already said publicly that if the Texans don't take them then if he falls to J-Ville its going to suck playing against him twice a year.

3) Caldwell said has said previously that he wants picks from rounds 1 - 3 to be immediate starters or at least have that potential. Since he already said no other QB in this class is ready to start, then that means A) we are drafting Johnny Manziel, or B ) we aren't drafting a QB until round 4....

This is just my opinion. But I think its #JohnnyJaguar at #3

I still think this is the year we end up trading down. The guys Cleveland (reportedly) wants are some of the last most coveted players in the draft and I think someone will want to beat them to the punch. So Anthony Barr. And I'm hoping for a Bridgewater slide of epic proportions.

Down to 6, then down to 10. Then take Jake Matthews.
