Yep. Like I said if you identify your QB you dont risk losing him. Dont agree with the pick however. I guess all we can do is wait and see.

Bortles was at his very best in his biggest games. Just look at the Louisville game and the Baylor game. He was money.

I really don't' see how people make comparisons to gabbert, he demonstrated in pretty much every game that he'll stay in the pocket take a hit and deliver the ball. The only thing I"m worried about is the Romo style mistakes that make you scrath your head.

Do we only hire troll GM's? I thought Bortles was the most pro-ready QB in the draft. I like the player but why select him there? We must have gotten garbage for trade offers...

We just drafted a quarterback controversy, that's as much of a problem as anything.  I know you cannot be afraid, but Henne has one marginal game they'll all scream for Bortles.  At least taking a 2nd/3rd round qb could have given us some leeway.

 

When's the last time we haven't had a QB controversy in J'ville?
