Yeah, I'd rather see Savage and possibly Carr. Carr has a ton of talent, but he's so skiddish in the pocket ala Gabbert. Definitely needs to be worked on, and if not, he won't amount to anything.

I like him but I don't think he's in the same class as Bortles and Bridgewater as a pocket passer. I think Carr is more ready to start than Jimmy but he can be a good player in a few years.

Well that's the rub.  They really didn't do much to take it, it was theirs by default.

 

I think they'll have more competition than they expect this year, as all three should improve.

 

Particularly if the Texans cause them some tough Luck.
