***The Official 2014 NFL Draft Thread Day 2***

Quote:You guys realize if there was no risk invoked with Lee, he would be a high end first rounder??

No risk at all on a somewhat shorter WR that's a body catcher who has had a major knee injury. No, none at all... put down the kool aid bruh.

Cecil Shorts, Marqise Lee and hopefull Justin Blackmon all on the same team. Bortles must be doing jumping jacks right now.

There was a "We Are... JAGUARS" going on after that chant on the NFL Network's coverage. Pretty awesome moment.

I disagree....a player could be mocked as the 1st overall pick....if he's a medical risk, its a concern. Lee had a fantastic 2012, but was not the same player in 2013. If theres a knee problem, he may never be that player from 2012.

Quote:Exactly. Not the greatest draft at this point.

Could have traded down several spots, picked Bortles and had an extra pick.

Could have picked a safer WR. Seems like they're going all in on this draft instead of playing it somewhat safe.

For a team that's not going to compete this year, seems pretty risky to me.

From what we know, Bortles would not have lasted had we traded down.

Do you know any of this for sure?

Disagree about ace sanders.. I think he is just what we drafted him to be, and has the potential if we bring in a solid #1 receiver..Lee? To be more than what we bargained for..

With Robinson the jury is still out, though it is hard to call a fourth round project a bust....

We got us a receiver now as well.  Caldwell said it was an offense minded draft.  Now oline help in the 3rd and 4th.  Wouldn't mind an edge rusher or tight end,.

You have no idea what you're talking about, man.  It's obvious that Bortles wasn't going past 4.  And Lee had no business falling to us.

can't argue with that pick

one of the top players left on the board and at a position of need

snap that up all day long

We should have seen this coming haha. I say get six offensive players, three defensive players plus a couple ST guys.

No, I have no idea at all. Cleveland wanted Manziel. How it's obvious to you otherwise is beyond me.

Seems you have no idea what you're talking about, but continue talking!

Can a mod just ban this guy please? His trolling shtick is getting old.

He was projected mid to late first round. He would have been there. Would have been nice to take Mack and either trade back into the end of the first round and take Manziel / Bridgewater.

Project mid to late first by who? He was thought by most to be 1st QB taken leading up to draft.
