Marquis Lee

Quote:Huh? no no....just like I disputed the Bowe comparisons, Lee isn't as big as Allen, nor does he have that sort of skill set.
I don't think he's comparing them as in size etc. More like the value of the pick.

Quote:I honestly thought this was a no-brainer - guess I am nuts

I think its the style of WR people prefer that makes you either like this pick or not.

Me? I like bigger WR's that are more physical and win down field one on one battles and jump balls and get yardage in chunks.

Some people like these smaller, short pass catching YAC yard WR's....

These are the types of WRs that have problems against the better corners, Sherman, Haden etc.

I really like Lee as our second pick, and he makes me like the choice of Bartles in the first round more. It's fun to get excited about our draft choices for a change!

um lee is TEN times more talented than keenan allen... book it

allen is stiff in the hips... runs a few routes... lee does it all and is way more athletic.. WAY more athletic

you all continue to ignore how athletic his numbers were at the combine in broad jump, shuttle, vert... and he ran track at USC... he is faster than 4.52 which is plenty fast as it is

Quote:I probably would have leaned toward a slightly larger receiver, but I do like Lee's ability and burst after the catch.

I'll play the wait and see game before complaining, but I definitely had a couple of receivers targeted before him.
Annnnnnnndddd  Ronbinson was one of them.  BOOM!

Receiver position good to go IMO.

Quote:medical risk?  he had a shoulder and a knee sprain... nothing that is chronic in any way shape or form
Grade 2 MCL sprain that he is still dealing with. Teams passed on him because of his knee...red flag.

still dealing with?? 100% incorrect... an mcl sprain heals, and does not linger... this isnt cartilage
