Mel Kiper talked about that a few weeks ago. I think Webster is basically a great athlete without a position right now.

If Larry Webster does indeed make the switch to TE, I think he can be that mold. He is raw at that position, however he is a former basketball player who doesn't have much football experience anyway. 

 

6'6", 252 LBS, 10 1/8" hands, and runs a 4.58 forty.....He started playing football in 2012 as a DE, but as you can see even NFL.com thinks so

 A gifted athlete with NFL pedigree and intriguing developmental tools as a speed rusher, Webster could prove to be better fit as a flex tight end in the pros, possessing more of an offensive temperament and the size, wingspan, athletic ability and coordination to create mismatches in a similar mold as Broncos TE Julius Thomas and Browns TE Jordan Cameron exiting college with limited football experience.

Love me some C Jones. Dude takes on tackles and still gets the sack or stop on the RB behind the line of scrimage. And hes quick of the edge.

I would develop him at TE before I try to make him a LEO, the main reason is because he has only been playing football since 2012 when he switched from Basketball....

 

At this point in his short football career he is probably more suited for offense rather than defense. But that just IMO.
