Quote:Don't leave out Jackson Jeffcoat. I thought the Jags might have targeted him in the third round. Solid LEO prospect.Yeah. I was noticing him. A good pick, I think. Also would like to get Seastrunk out of Baylor as a complement to Gerhart. ![]() Fix the O-Line!

Quote:I like Webster too, but there was some rumor (dunno if true) about Webster changing positions in the NFL to TE?.... Mel Kiper talked about that a few weeks ago. I think Webster is basically a great athlete without a position right now.
I wouldn't mind seeing the team add a nose tackle. Justin Ellis and Ryan Carrethers are two guys worth looking at.
Quote:I like Webster too, but there was some rumor (dunno if true) about Webster changing positions in the NFL to TE?.... I certainly wouldn't make a project out of him at TE before putting him in the LEO rotation and developing him to take down the QB.

McGill
MccCullers Tripp Walt Aikens Christian Jones maybe Dakota Dozier(check out this video below, how can you not want a guy like this) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tYS2_KfMB9w
What are y'alls thoughts on Christian Jones. He seems pretty versatile. And we need LB.
Quote:I certainly wouldn't make a project out of him at TE before putting him in the LEO rotation and developing him to take down the QB. I agree with you.
Walt Aikens - CB

I don't know how you all keep up with all of these players, but any TE's left in the mold of Jimmy Graham or Julius Thomas?

Quote:I don't know how you all keep up with all of these players, but any TE's left in the mold of Jimmy Graham or Julius Thomas? If Larry Webster does indeed make the switch to TE, I think he can be that mold. He is raw at that position, however he is a former basketball player who doesn't have much football experience anyway. 6'6", 252 LBS, 10 1/8" hands, and runs a 4.58 forty.....He started playing football in 2012 as a DE, but as you can see even NFL.com thinks so http://www.nfl.com/draft/2014/profiles/l...id=2543786 BOTTOM LINE A gifted athlete with NFL pedigree and intriguing developmental tools as a speed rusher, Webster could prove to be better fit as a flex tight end in the pros, possessing more of an offensive temperament and the size, wingspan, athletic ability and coordination to create mismatches in a similar mold as Broncos TE Julius Thomas and Browns TE Jordan Cameron exiting college with limited football experience. Quote:What are y'alls thoughts on Christian Jones. He seems pretty versatile. And we need LB.Love me some C Jones. Dude takes on tackles and still gets the sack or stop on the RB behind the line of scrimage. And hes quick of the edge. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Go after gifted guys who played in small schools. Might hit a home run.
Quote:<div></div> Quote:I certainly wouldn't make a project out of him at TE before putting him in the LEO rotation and developing him to take down the QB. I would develop him at TE before I try to make him a LEO, the main reason is because he has only been playing football since 2012 when he switched from Basketball.... At this point in his short football career he is probably more suited for offense rather than defense. But that just IMO.
Don't know if they are the "best", but some guys I wouldn't mind seeing the Jags select....
CB Jaylen Watkins -4th First pick of 4th to Philly CB Pierre Desir - 4th CB/S Antone Exum - 5th OLB Christian Jones -4th (but not if rumors are true he failed Combine drug test) OLB Jordan Tripp -4th OLB Trevor Reily (LEO) - 5th OLB Devon Kennard (LEO) - 5th ILB Avery Williamson -5th or 6th DE Josh Mauro - 5th or 6th TE Arthur Lynch - 4th RB Ka'deem Carey - 4th RB Storm Johnson - 5th or 6th C Gabe Ikard - 5th C Bryan Stork - 7th San Fran snagged him with our traded pick at #70. I think they the chances are greater that they draft another WR than they take another QB, but I don't think they take either the rest of this draft. *QB Garret Gilbert (SMU) as an UFA maybe We show less advertisements to registered users. I know its crazy but Jared Abbrederis is falling and this guy is a 2nd round wr talent.
Id hate to invest 3 picks into wrs but its hard to pass on a steal like that. Theres still talent we can get with the 4th but if hes somehow still there when the 5th hits, you have GOT to consider taking him https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FKUx0CC7VBk
Guy is open deep so many times....and I mean WIDE open. Runs incredible routes. Leaves dbs twisting into knots trying to cover him
