It really looks like the Jaguars' brass turn over the draft to the scouts after round three.

 

I guess allowing them to make the picks is their reward for being a scout? It gives them a shot at becoming a more prominent potential NFL executive. Having a draft pick directly attributed to your name is a calling card?

 

Just guess as to why we annually see these ridiculously high risk picks.

Come on now. You're better than that jagabc6893. The draft is about the FUTURE not tomorrow. If you can get top 50 talent in the 4th round I'll take it everyday. Even if we may have to wait a year to see him.

The third day of the draft is always about the future. Sounds like unrealistic expectations.

I really don't get the Linder hate by some....he looks like a pretty good Guard to me. Very good technique/ smarts. Good size. Mean streak....So he might not be as athletic as some of the others....so what?...He's proven to be good with what he has. Plus, Fisch is familiar with him and he's obviously a fit for our scheme, too.

Just now noticed the Cardinals took QB Logan Thomas over all the over higher-ranked prospects. 

 

I really thought they would take Mettenberger, or even Savage. 

 

I think they just didn't want the Niners to get Thomas in the 5th or 6th.  LOL

Bruce Arians is the former Steelers coach responsible for the development of Ben Roethlisberger. Thomas will learn under him
