Works every time. Unless the person shooting you can't aim.

How do you miss a bullet proof vest you're aiming for?

It had a hole in it from prior use?

According to the story she shot above the vest.

But if she shot him in the chest, how is that above the vest?  Isn't that what the vest is covering?

The idiot asked someone to shoot him while wearing a vest.  Do you really think he put much thought into putting it on correctly?

I'm sure somewhere along the line, the guy said "Hold my beer" to someone.

I'll at least give him credit for knowing that the one being shot wears the vest and not the shooter.

Vest sold to the public are often a loose universal fit, so much like a tank top will come down and leave some of the chest area exposed if the vest he was using was just something he picked up at a flea market or an online supplier I can see how the bullet could "miss".

Guys a complete idiot, you want to test the vest? Put it on a watermelon damn, man.

Also keep in mind what makes these vest "bullet proof" is the metal plate inside the vest, it's completely possible he had the wrong plate in the vest and the shooter hit the vest but missed the metal plate.

So the vest technically didn't fail...it's not like a bullet pierced the vest.
