I'm sure at argyleandrainbows.com, it graded out like this:
Hou - A Ind - F Jax - A Ten - A The scale is slightly different. F = FABULOUS! A = AWFUL Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
Quote:If your theory is true, O'Brien took a run-blocking tight end much earlier than projected just to settle a score with his former boss. That move would make him petty and insecure, in addition to inheriting Belicheat's lack of charisma. Can't wait for him to fail like everyone else from the Belicheat tree. That is one way to look at it. Another way would be to see that Belicheat was trying to once again bully his way into getting what he wanted, and instead got Belicheated at his own game. For that, I give O'brien props to a job well done. It's not like the TE isn't a huge asset to the Texans, only he wasn't as huge a need as other positions at the time he was picked.

How was Fiedorowicz "overdrafted".. please explain.. as most mocks had him pegged as a solid 2nd rounder. And where is he listed as only a run blocking TE. I haven't seen that anywhere. Just because you can do something doesn't mean you're pigeonholed into that position and that's all you can do. As far as O'Brien, I'm sure you can't wait to see him fail. I mean why would you want him to succeed? but there's a difference between him and the other branches "in the Belicheat tree". The Texans aren't his first head coaching job.. and he already was a huge success at his other stop, where he had to overcome great odds to win. He's a good coach We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Mad Dog is an idiot. The texans didn't settle on Clowney. They just made teams aware that they weren't giving their spot away freely.
Quote:ummmm. That was.........fierce? The bow tie puts it over the top.. Step 1... put your claws up Step 2... move to the side Step 3... down! Now you're "Jaguaring" :woot: LOL We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
The Belichek tree has failed because none of them had Tom Brady. There would have been no Belichek tree if Tom Brady hadn't emerged. Beli was on his way to being fired.
Quote:The Belichek tree has failed because none of them had Tom Brady. There would have been no Belichek tree if Tom Brady hadn't emerged. Beli was on his way to being fired. Completely untrue.. Belichick wasn't "on his way to being fired" with the Pats. and did you watch the documentary on the Browns/Ravens, Belichick was a main key for their SB win as well. Hell Tom Brady wasn't even the driving force behind the Pats early SB wins.. he was a caretaker early on. They won those chips on defense and STs and while we're going to give Tom Brady all the credit for the Pats winning.. what about the job Bill O'Brien's did coaching up and going 11-5 with Matt Cassell?
Quote: And with cameramen.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
Quote:And with cameramen. If you aren't cheating, then you aren't trying.. so let's stop pretending that the Patriots were the only people/team who were pushing that envelope ![]() We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:If you aren't cheating, then you aren't trying.. so let's stop pretending that the Patriots were the only people/team who were pushing that envelope If the Colts do pump in crowd noise, who cares? "If only it were a little quieter in here, we surely would have beaten the Colts."....said no team ever.

Quote:If the Colts do pump in crowd noise, who cares? "If only it were a little quieter in here, we surely would have beaten the Colts."....said no team ever. If you don't care about that.. then don't gripe about somebody video taping a practice. It's still bending the rules and trying to get a competitive edge. Also the only person who openly griped about video taping practices was the moron who had no problem doing it while he was with the Pats so he comes off looking like a giant hypocrite. I highly doubt that the Pats were the only team who ever tried to get a competitive edge.. You are naïve if you believe they were.. how about the Saints bountygate? And these are the only things that reached the public surface. Who honestly knows what else has happened.

Quote:Colts: F If you think we're bias why don't you look at all the media members doing these grades, don't think I've seen anyone give us less than an A. We did good, Colts didn't deal wit it We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:Nice first post. Just signed up for that?....lol Yeah kinda. You're getting that crap because some trolls on the Texans message board were spouting it. There was never any indication from anyone that the Texans were trying to trade the spot at the last second in desperation. Rick Smith always said the team was locked in on who they wanted like a week before the draft, but that they would still field any enticing offers. Bottom line: I believe the Jaguars had a good draft, but don't fool yourself into believing the Texans royally messed up their draft plans.
Quote: Says the guy trolling the Jaguars boards... Ironic. Quote:Yeah kinda. nah, i think the texans botched the draft hard. starting with the clowney pick and then at the end of rd 1 when the vikings stole teddy.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."
