What If Bridgewater Stays In School?

#1

Is there any indication that Teddy will stay for his senior year? Maybe wants to finish his degree or really likes the college life?

And a hypthothical question for everyone... If he stays what do we do with the no. 1 pick?

He is set to graduate this year, took out a 10 million dollar insurance policy, and recently said he wants to be the number 1 overall pick. He's coming out.

I look forward to this being brought up weekly for the next three months. I bet everyone who starts this same thread thinks they've discovered some earth-shattering possibility that nobody else has considered.

HOLY MOLY!

I just thought of something..

What if Bridgewater stays in school an extra year?

Errr

What if Bridgewater Clowney stays in school an extra year?

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

I apologize. I hadn't seen a topic about it nor a true discussion about it. When I made this I did not think I invented the wheel or discovered the holy grail of a message board thread. It's a 2 part opening post. 1. Anything out there? Yes or no And 2. A hypothetical question on what we do "IF" if he stays.

Answer the questions or move along....

Your questions were dutifully answered. You may move along.

I also have no doubt after we clinch the first pick that someone like Mike Florio will post something like "Will Teddy Bridgewater stay in school to avoid the Jaguars"?

As pointed out already, I don't see that happening either. That insurance policy speaks volumes. Strike while the iron is hot. To many QB's have stayed in school that extra year and cost themselves millions upon millions.

If he stays another year he may not be the best QB to come out in his draft.  Jameis Winston would have that distinction.  Yes I'm saying Jameis is better than Bridgewater

That is not an outrageous statement.

I concur (as my friend NH3 would say).

Jameis could possibly be one of the the best, if not THE best, QB to come out (even better than Luck potentially).

You Noles' fan slurp this kid worse than I've ever seen a Gators fan gloss over Tebow and he at least won a heisman and two national championships.
LEONARD FOURNETTE FAN CLUB PRESIDENT. I WAS BEHIND HIM WHEN YOU ALL SAID HE WAS BRANDON JACOBS. QUIT HATING ON THE JAGUARS. GUS IS GONE. COUGHLIN HAS RESTORED ORDER. FOURNETTE IS FRED TAYLOR. DONT BELIEVE ME JUST WATCH.

If Winston comes out next year I would almost hope the Jags just sign a vet journeyman QB for the next year.  Bolster the D with this years draft.  I was all the way Bridgewater until I watch more and more of Winston.

Don't remember seeing a freaking ESPN special on Winston before he even took a college snap Gator boy.

Im thinking, if Bridewater stinks it up in a bowl game this year against REAL COMPITITION- This message board will crash!

P.S.- 5x7, You remind me quite a bit of vagrentwade last year with Geno Smith this/ Geno Smith that. How did that work out? Thinking his MAGIC TOUCH did not turn the Jets into instant contenders!

Hah! Nice try. I root for all the Florida college team equally, so sorry. Also I've not heard one Noles fan say anything other than "he's the greatest QB to ever don an FSU uniform" since he threw that ball over the pike house.

Funny thing is that I'm NOT a Noles fan.

I doubt you have seen this kid play ball... His mechanics, instincts, decision-making, and athleticism are amazing - especially at this point in his football career as a freshman.
