Jaguars on Hardknocks?

#21

The Gus juice craze going around nationally may actually make the NFL take notice and appoint the Jags as front runners for the show.

Cleveland probably winds up being the frontrunner.  The NFL was determined to market the entire draft around the 22nd pick.  If it's not them, it'll be St. Louis since the league also put a lot of energy into a 7th round selection.

NO... Not Today, Not Tomorrow and Next Season will also be NO...

You as a GM, coach or player can't be yourself. Yu'll be picked apart, ridiculed for being you along w/being over cautious of your on field performance. Look at it this way. How do you perform w/o supervision vs. someone constantly looking over your shoulders?

A Distraction it Will Be...

NH3...

Uh, you mean like 60,000 fans looking over their shoulder every Sunday?

I think these guys are used to being looked at, evaluated and judged all the time. I bet they'd quickly forget the cameras are even there.

Now, the coaches I'm sure would rather it not happen. Almost every coach I am aware of is a control freak, so they may have a hard time getting used to the idea.

But that's just it, the players are used to folks scrutinizing what they do on the game field, not the practice field. Practice is their sanctuary where they are allowed to screw up and stumble and blow off steam and everything else without criticism from the fanbase. Can you imagine how hard some posters here would be on players if they got access to the learning process and got to see all of the mistakes on TV on a regular basis?!?!?!

Cardiac arrest and rage episodes would grow exponentially.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

I would have at least one more year of solid improvement.  It would worry me a little to have a rookie qb that may get some play time to be pressured by the show.

You know HBO would focus on Bortles...its a possible pressure I'd rather wait 2 or 3 years down the road.

I think most likely will be Chicago Bears and definitely hope it's not St Louis Rams I'm tired of this Michael Sam crap. I'd love too see Jags get exposure.

Given the trend of the NPCFL it will probably be the Rams so they can help push the agenda.

As I predicted earlier today, St. Louis would be under consideration for no other reason than a 7th round pick.

I'm surprised Cleveland isn't one of the teams considering how heavy handed the Manziel promotion was during the draft.

In the end, Chicago or Arizona make the most sense.

Don't the Browns have a new coach? That takes them off the eligibility list right?

Shad wants it, deep down he does...I would too.

HBO + Gus Juice could be huge!

You bring up a good point. My God - we'd have 100 page threads! Everyone would be an instant media critic.

It would be hilarious.

Watch it - you're driving dangerously close to the edge of Conspiracy Land! You're about to run into TMD!

And then you'll have to deal with the dreaded AGENDA.

You'll be lucky to get out alive.

I know. Isn't it a drag when they hold a gun to your head and make you read and watch this stuff? It's sad we don't have any free will.

Not sure if it's been posted already but the Falcons are this year's hard knocks team.

Good, ...we don't need the distractions anyway. Bradley himself has been quoted as relieved. I think he was quoted as saying something like "thank you Atlanta" or something of that nature.

Would it have been a cool thing for Jags fans to see the show with us as the feature? Sure, but I think we're better off without it, tbh.
