Teddy Countdown

Quote:Ugh, this concerns me.... Chill. Teddy will play fine. Regardless, one game won't change what he did/ does last year and this year. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:Ugh, this concerns me.... Someone mentioned that Caldwell would be at the game himself. Honestly don't think that his production will be that affected by losing his top WR. And honestly doubt it's the only game they go to of his.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
Quote:Chill. Teddy will play fine. Regardless, one game won't change what he did/ does last year and this year. Quote:Someone mentioned that Caldwell would be at the game himself. again....remember who we are... I could envision a scenario like this: Our scouts/ Caldwell go to this game and Teddy plays lackluster due to a myriad of reasonable reasons/ i.e. short week/ no DeVante Parker, etc etc, and our people come away with a less than ecstatic view of him.... then they just happen to get "lucky" and catch one of the other lesser QB later in the season have their "best" games at the one they attend, cough cough Gene Smith / Gabbert vs Iowa that time.....(((((((hello)))))))) the universe is aligning against us...I see it now..... Remember what I am saying here, should we ultimately pass on Bridgewater, later on.....
Quote:again....remember who we are... Teddy playing well will debunk that pretty fast.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
Teddy completes passes to about everyone on the depth chart, so he doesn't need Parker to shred Rutgers. He just won't be lobbing anything in the endzone tomorrow.

Quote:Teddy playing well will debunk that pretty fast. I hope he does. Granted, most of us will have the intelligence to understand the factors that might cause Teddy to maybe not be "up to his usual great standards" tomorrow night, but again.....this franchise has a history of making bad decisions....they could be seeing Teddy at the wrong moment and it could ruin everything for us if the other part of what I said comes to fruition...(getting "unlucky and being at the game that one of the other QB prospects has their career game) ala Gabbert/ Gene Smith in Iowa....
Didn't he complete passes to like 10 different receivers against temple?
Parker gets a lot of the red zone TDs but Rodgers/Copeland/Christian are more than capable.
TEST
Quote:Didn't he complete passes to like 10 different receivers against temple? He did. I'm probably being paranoid here, but as said....this is the Jags organization were talking about here.....we need nothing that could potentially sway their opinions away from Teddy.... Quote:I'm 28. So it would have been awkward to refer to myself as "kid".Who says you can't be a kid at 28? Look at Michael Jackson, and he was in his 50's. RIP. And yes, I would totally believe you would have asked for shirtless pics, as weird as that is. Lol We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:He did. Caldwell isn't Gene Smith. Gene Smith loved trading away future picks for the 'now'. Even when we weren't ready to be competitive. In his first year he traded a future 2nd for a third. In his third year he traded up to pick Blaine Gabbert. In his last year we traded up to get Blackmon. The man fell in love with players. Gabbert. Alualu. He was afraid of losing them. If he thought they wouldn't fall to him, he had to move up and get them. He'd overdraft them. That's not Caldwell. He has yet to exhibit being enamored by a player. He has yet to exhibit signs of player-loss fear.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
Quote:Ugh, this concerns me.... I will personally guarantee you that this will not be the only Bridgewater game that Dave Caldwell watches. They'll look at his entire body of work and not just one game on a short week. A Tuxedo Guarantee!

Yeah, but in person?.... :whistling: As someone else said....If Teddy can play well tomorrow night, then thats the best thing. We show less advertisements to registered users. Not much of a countdown topic without a countdown:
211 days remain
until the
2014 NFL Draft
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
Ok, now I know this isn't likely but what if we don't have the first pick of the draft? If the Giants and Bucs don't get it together and by some miracle we win a game or two we might be picking 2nd or 3rd then what?
Quote:I hope he does. Good lord.
On Wisconsin.

Quote:Good lord.we are cheap remember, probably dont wanna waste money on teddys other game tapes lol
So just to summarize, TMD is now worried because he thinks Scouts only catch parts of games and might only see bad plays?
Lol yeesh.

Quote:So just to summarize, TMD is now worried because he thinks Scouts only catch parts of games and might only see bad plays? concerned that our group might catch Teddy in a less than stellar performance in person tomorrow night despite there being legit reasons if it does happen, i.e. no Parker, and short week. well, to be fair, not just any scouts/ GM.....our scouts/ GM. Yes, it may be a new regime, (the one that just gave away a good OLT for scrap) but its still the Jaguars, and I will assume the worst until they give me a reason not to. They've built up that kind of historical track record that spans regimes. (so they've earned that rep, can't blame fans for assuming the worst when it comes to decision making from Jags brass) |
