Hope the water boy brought him something to drink after that TD.
I like that he balled out against the Chiefs though.
THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.
RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE.
Willie Beaman!

Quote:Yeah, why did we let Matt Scott go in lieu of Ricky Stanzi? You really seem to be avoiding some subjects today, mad dog. If you want to talk QBs then why not Mallett?
Quote:You really seem to be avoiding some subjects today, mad dog. I posted on the Mallett thread. You still haven't answered my Stanzi/ Scott question. Seriously, what has Stanzi shown that he deserved to be the one that stayed and Scott cut? Isn't Scott younger than Stanzi too? I'm not saying that Scott set the world on fire while here or anything, but Stanzi's done nothing of note. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Quote:I didn't answer because it's so unimportant and pointless, not to mention not specifically directed to me in your original post. You felt it was important enough to quote it. As for being "unimportant & pointless". Its not. Why is talking about QB3 "pointless"??. I guess that means that discussing any player that is not the starter at their position is unimportant & pointless. Hence, you shouldn't ever venture into any Jags football discussion again which isn't discussing the starting 24 (including P & K) Quote:I posted on the Mallett thread. You still haven't answered my Stanzi/ Scott question. I dunno. But something must have been amiss considering the QB coach was Scott's coach in college.

Quote:You felt it was important enough to quote it. Actually it was so unimportant that I didn't bother to remove it from the quote, it was the message board software that quoted the entire post by default. Quote:Yeah, why did we let Matt Scott go in lieu of Ricky Stanzi? It was more in lieu of Stephen Morris than Stanzi.
Quote:It was more in lieu of Stephen Morris than Stanzi. I guess you could argue that, too... I just don't get why Stanzi is still here and Scott is gone. Quote:I guess you could argue that, too... Could be a good player to have in the film room. Obviously they didn't feel Scott would be successful here and one good 4th quarter in preseason shouldn't drastically change anyone's opinion. Well, no....but thats 1 good quarter more than Stanzi's produced....just sayin. Hopefully Stanzi will show something going forward.

We probably kept Stanzi, because when it comes down to it -- neither will probably make the final roster. Stanzi, in case of emergency, can likely just be picked up again. While Scott might be grabbed by somebody else. They'll just have to get the Stanzi-Phone, and get him off his Eagle.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
Quote:Well, no....but thats 1 good quarter more than Stanzi's produced....just sayin. Stanzi was signed at the end of the preseason last year because Scott and Kafka were so bad. Not surprisingly, you are trying to make something out of nothing.
