Wow Gabbert sucks
|
Of course we already all know he sucks, but he's actually regressed. Watching him today against the Ravens he was erratic as ever with errant passes right and left. There's absolutely no reason the scrub should still be playing in this league, and yet the 49ers still have him inked as their backup QB. I really don't think they have a shot at winning any game he starts.

He did look even worse than normal tonight. Still glad we got something for him tho.
MAYBE...maybe if Kaep was a statue, I could understand rolling the dice on Gabbad as a fringe backup but Gabbad doesn't resemble Kaep in any manner
I wonder if Prisco can finally admit he was wrong about Blaine too. Doubtful.
Only a chump boos the home team!

BG never really showed any kind of improvement from his first start in the NFL to his snaps in Thurs' Niner's preseason game.
At least none that I could see. He looked just as bad last night as he did with his past team.
I survived the Gus Bradley Error.
Quote:He did look even worse than normal tonight. Still glad we got something for him tho.I am still in shock that Dave Caldwell was able to do that. That in itself proved he's a decent GM.
Well he did hit that DB perfectly in stride on the INT.
There's always that.... ![]()
And what do the niners do with his $2 million salary?
Amazing what Dave pulled off. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
When the 49ers signed him their fans were saying how he really is good and he just had no talent around him....then last night happened.
If he ever is forced to play, 49ers fans should get used to his stats. Here's what he posted this past Thursday...
<p style="margin-left:40px;">3 of 11 (27.3 percent) for 19 yards (1.8 YPA) with 0 TDs and 1 INT for a 1.7 qb rating; sacked once for a 7-yard loss; 0 rushing attempts

Give the guy a chance, he was playing against third stringers... Wait a minute.

That could change today, although the guys behind him didn't have much better success. Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Even Garrard is panning him today. He thinks after a few years of going through this, it's not happening for him.

Maybe he should try puking before plays instead of doing it during them?

I didn't see the game. From everything I've read today he picked up where he left off in the Rams game last year.
Maybe Mike Mularky really is a better QB coach than we gave him credit for. Gabbert actually looked passable at times in 2012. We show less advertisements to registered users. I believe anyone of us could have done that.

He's crushing Harbaugh's "guru" myth.
