I honestly meant my remark to be in jest, not to sidetrack the thread. My bad, look where it went.

As well as Hutchence....so bb4's suggestion wasn't really all that inappropriate.

Did I think thats what happened? No, as I already listed early in the thread what I believe was part of the issue...but that said, the people coming down on bb4 for what she said are out of line given the precedent of examples for deaths as she hypothesized.

For the record I thought about that as well, at first.

My dearest sympathies to Robin Williams. As well as his family and fans, but this media coverage is a tad bit too obsessive IMO.

Its Hollyweird....nothing would surprise me at this point anymore, as to what actually happened.

I was a big INXS fan growing up....I would have never imagined that Hutchence would have died that way (before it happened) You (us) think you know these people and you simply don't.

Can't be as bad as when Michael Jackson died. Two weeks later he was still in news. Yep, still dead.

I would so rather find out that it was some kind of freak accident, no matter how perverted some on here would find it or me, than to think about someone being in that much pain that their only way out is to do that to themselves. I don't understand that kind of pain.
What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???

I agree, that was my first thought actually. Just because some of those guys out in LA are into some weird stuff. Almost kind of expect the weird stuff when you hear about some of them.

I will miss seeing him in movies and shows.

Thats why I suggested what I did in my early post (post 11). I think that when these people come down off of their mass popularity it leaves an emptyness in their lives that they can't replace. You mentioned the cancelling of his show recently....and that lends credence to what I am suggesting here.

Of course drug use is also always a possibility to be a contributing factor as well in such cases of depression, too. See Brad Delp's suicide (Boston)

At least we haven't had to deal with the constant Michael sightings like there were with Elvis!!

It helped someone had a shot of the corpse on a gurney that wound up going viral.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

The feeling of hopelessness felt by someone suffering deep depression is beyond pain. It is a terrible way to go through life.

Clinical depression is a scary place to be.  I've seen it in my family, and it ended up the same way as this incident
