Nothing wrong with that. I agree. You have to reminisce on the good times once in a while as long as you realize what's real and now and act accordingly.

Am I the only one that declines calls from numbers that I see as familiar but cant remember who it was. Yet, I don't answer those calls just in case it's a situation like that. Or, does that mean I am the guy on the other end that doeant make contact in ( I'd say 30 yrs like homebiscuit and drifter, but I am only 31. Sorry bout your luck guys) years.?

 

No bad luck for me.  It's not like I was yearning heart broke for her, just curious as to how she had been getting along.  I've been with my wife for 25 years and we have five children together - I'm good :thumbsup:  I felt more sad for her than anything.  She made some poor choices and paid the price for it.  You always wish the best for anyone you cared about at one time.

Congrats on the 25 yrs, and counting marriage. I wonder if the other Side looks at us thinking the same thing, that their lives turned our great and hoping the best for us. As a non book facer I can only assume that I am better than them.


Edit: by " sorry about your luck" I mean that you guys haven't talked to these females in a time frame that it almost as long as my existence. Don't age hate. I like you guys for your quick wit and humor, not formal flames.

That would be a bummer. Though I'm not sure why I wouldn't fold. Folding is the best thing to do with deuces as it is with talking to old flames/ girlfriends and what not. Throw them out and hope for a better starting hand as you did with your wife who has bared you 5 children, and as I did with my wife who has bared me a great 401k and retirement plan.

Beetles?( only added them cause I'm listening to "come together" Aerosmith version) beastly boys( or from what I hear to be Sammy's fav the boys) chill peppers, anything?

Well the 1st song was by the Scorpions, then I got to thinking about what I was doing and Glory Days popped in to my head. Actually, I love the Beatles, Stones, Hendrix but I'm really in to Motorhead right now and they are not fitting to post on this board

However, I have sworn to them to get revenge one day when they have their own homes.  I'm going to swing by for a visit and wait until they leave the room so I can break something valuable.  When they return to see the damage and ask in an exasperated voice, "What happened?" I'll just simply shrug and reply "I dunno".

You parents of teenagers know what I'm talking about.

Don't mind Motörhead. Any hard or classic rock Im all for it! Acdc Metallica rob zombie stones Aerosmith. Although in my older age I am starting to like softer stuff by the black keys and cage the elephant stuff like that. "Funny" not the haha way I know. But i guess growing up does that.

I'm guilty of that. Been a long time but I'll own up to it now. Why my parents still love me idk. My teenage step son, I keep trying to blame stuff on him but my wife's pretty smart.

Not trying to toot my own horn, but I'm pretty good on the grill. Having said "toot"(haha) I mean... Having said that, I smoked some baby back ribs on my new egg about five beers ago. I need some practice on the egg, not my best work. But still excited about it!
