Aaahhh. First time it's had a hint of a cool feeling this morning when I was out doing my walk, in quite a while. Nice and clear and it seemed like there a billion stars all around, and I got a peaceful easy feeling.....

Both are currently in conjunction. They were closest to each other on the morning of August 18th and grow increasingly distant everyday afterwards, but still clearly visible together. To give some perspective on the relative vastness observed, Venus is currently approximately 150 million miles away while Jupiter is 574 million miles distant.
