Noticed Kelvin Taylor is starting for the Gators' squad this year. Any die hards have any projections for him? Being a huge Fred Taylor fan from his playing days for the Jags, I have an interest in Kelvins football career.
No one is safe.

Kelvin looked good last year. About the only bright spot on offense for the Gators. If he keeps it up, he could e a late 1st early 2nd. I'd love to see him here mainly because of his dad. Give him #28
"Expect for the best. Prepare for the worst. Capitalize on what comes."
What I have noticed over the years is the son rarely plays close to the level of the dad, so it would not be fair to judge Kelvin Taylor based on Fred or even give him #28 if he does not ask for it.
I also find it hard to believe a 38-year old man has a sophomore in college. My parents were in their 50s during my older sister's college sophomore year.

Peyton Manning, Andrew Luck, and Eric Metcalf say hi. He's a true sophomore.

THERE IS A SKELETON INSIDE OF YOU.
RIGHT NOW. THIS IS NOT A JOKE. Quote:There are women in their mid 30s that have kids in college. Teenage pregnancy is an awkward thing. I used to work with a lady down in Jacksonville who was late 30's (38 or 39) and was a grandmother. She was single. As was her daughter who was living with her and the baby. And I remember her telling me of an upcoming family reunion where they'd have 5 generations attending. Her grandmother would be there who had just turned 80 a year or two prior. She was extremely proud of this too. The whole story was peculiar. And I had visions of tax dollars going down the toilet. ________________________________________________ Scouting well is all that matters. Draft philosophy is all fluff.

Quote:I think she is trying to make some generalized statement about sons not outperforming their fathers. Exactly. I can rattle off a long liszt if you want and it would not include the Taylors. No, I do not live in a bubble. I know teenage girls get pregnant. But I had no idea Fred's wife was a teen mom. Quote:Exactly. I can rattle off a long liszt if you want and it would not include the Taylors. Who says she was a teen mom? I don't know and don't care to look it up but maybe she was a cougar.
Quote:Exactly. I can rattle off a long liszt if you want and it would not include the Taylors. I can rattle off a real long list of people who don't have sons in the NFL. |
