Love the sarcasm.

Whether someone has a liberal, or conservative viewpoint, a authoritative figure should not lock a thread for the sole purpose to get the last word in all the while prohibiting someone else from being able to respond.

his preseason play at 17 YPC as you said(i have not verified that) with bortles throwing him most of his passes vs cecil shorts 14.5 YPC over the course of his career in the REGULAR SEASON when it counts with blaine gabbert and chad henne throwing him his passes has earned it?

ok buddy. keep trying.....

one day youll throw out some crap that sticks and you wont look like a moron. every turd gets their day in the sun eventually.

You are incapable of arguing without throwing an insult. Its pathetic, and also telling that you don't have enough confidence for it to stand on its own.

I'm serious. Hurns and Shorts will both start. Where they lineup really doesnt matter.

alright thats definitely possible. definitely for the near future for sure. i eventually see lee and robinson passing hurns on the depth chart but i also think he plays a pivotal role and def gets decent reps.

Thats possible, but right now for the moment, I dont see Hurns as the number one guy.

so the answer is, in fact, no.... you are not going to address that.

I think that's a serious possibility. I would applaud it.

With Robinson, he should be #4 on the depth chart til he gets adequate practice reps in and then he can start to rotate with Hurns and Shorts. If he shows more than Hurns, or Shorts for that matter, you start him and sit whichever he outperforms. I think we'll see a healthy rotation of all 3 and the #1 and #2 spots. In regards to Lee, I think he will play the slot and rotate with Ace.

i agree with all of that except the need to sit players. if all these guys are producing we will definitely be seeing a lot of 3 wide sets.

I guess sit was the wrong word to use. I just meant not start in 2WR sets.

Quote:Cecil needs Blackmon on the other side for him to look good. Hurns needs no other WR to make him look good. Theres the difference.

So then,,,,, why trade Cecil? If Hurns turns out as good as what he's shown so far, Cecil will look good on the other side of him as he did with Blackmon. Boom, problem solved. Give Cecil a "decent" contract as some posters stated above, and the Jags have a legit #1 #2 WR tandem again.

Have Lee/Robinson as #3, utilizing Robinson and Marcedes a lot in the red zone....... I like it.

FTR,,,, I'm not sold on Lee yet at all. Hope he proves me wrong. But, I just don't see it.

I really like Hurns......but he doesn't take the kind of focus from a defense that Blackmon does.

Only the top 5-10 WR's leaguewide might get that kinda respect.

I don't think Shorts is great,, but he's definitely a viable #2. I don't think there would be any team willing to trade for him though. Really,, I just don't see it.

Anyway, without Shorts, Jags will be rolling with 3 rookies, a punt returner, and Mike Brown.

Is that really a big deal? This is not a playoff year. More reps for guys like Robinson/ Lee/ and Hurns is a good thing.

2015 is likely to be the big push year.

Unless you are a top pick, reps need to be earned.

If 2015 is the goal, you are still better off having a seasoned player in the mix.
