Ace Sanders

Quote:LOL based off of 2 returns for Doss?? I've actually been saying that since doss arrived so...... No?
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Ace had 5 returns. 1 fair catch, 3 with nice returns, 1 where we lost his footing as he was cutting up field with space.
Doss doesn't really have a case to make IMO, he couldn't get healthy in time to show what he has as a returner.
Other than an obvious troll on this message board, not one person I have heard thinks they keep Doss over Sanders.
I think Doss' ankle injury last night pretty much settles the debate.
The concern now is that with Doss out with a high ankle sprain, who are we leaning on for return duties until Sanders returns? Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
It's a shame Doss didn't get to do much, but Ace clearly showed why the team has stated he'll be welcomed back. He's just really good at making defenders miss. Call it shake, shiftiness, juke, whatever, I don't care. He's got it.
I have no problem with him stepping into the PR and 5th or 6th WR role in week 5. He'll be a welcome addition. If Doss is banged up, let Brown receive punts for 4 weeks. He did OK in week 3 with 2 or 3 chances. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote:I think Doss' ankle injury last night pretty much settles the debate. If I had to guess, it'd be Blackmon. He did fair last year. Quote:If I had to guess, it'd be Blackmon. He did fair last year.by fair, do you mean fair catching? if so, then he did great
Quote:<a class="bbc_url" href='https://imgflip.com/gif/bmbdj'> To be fair, its not often you get 15-20 yard cushions upon receiving the football on a punt return. I think many returners would have had at least the return you have in that GIF We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Quote: Thats fine, I didn't think anyone could dispute my actual point regarding the GIF
Quote:Geez man, you crack me up. Not sure what cracks you up there. He had a 15-20 yard cushion upon receiving that punt return. How often does that happen in this league?? Not much.
Quote:Thats fine, I didn't think anyone could dispute my actual point regarding the GIF What's hilarious is he fields the punt at the 36 and you can see two defenders at the 44. 15-20 yards??? Keep on flailing bro. Quote:Not sure what cracks you up there. He had a 15-20 yard cushion upon receiving that punt return. How often does that happen in this league?? Not much. There was about a 7-8 yard cushion before first contact, at which point he went for another 16 or 17 yards on the return. So, pat yourself on the back. You were right. A 15-20 yard cushion upon receiving the punt doesn't happen very often in this league...including on this play. Never argue with idiots. Quote:What's hilarious is he fields the punt at the 36 and you can see two defenders at the 44. 15-20 yards??? I see like 3 or 4 field lines (increments of 5 yards) between Sanders and the first wave upon catching that football. Thats 15-20 yards.
