Power Rankings week 1 post yours or feedback

Quote:Does Eric Decker's suspension affect anyone's power rankings? NFL network makes me worried for them. Especially since I have Captain 4Head as my fantasy QB...Wait did Peyton Manning get suspended? If not I wouldnt be too worried. Plus it being only 4 games for Wes is probably the best thing for him (to heal his head physically & mentally). We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:Agree. 19 is considerably high for a team coming off a 4-12 season.I'm drunk off of the teal koolaid when I placed them there, but I'm sticking to it. Heck week 1 is where we can all have such high hopes. I mean when the starters were on the field the Defense looked really good, except the Reggie Bush run away. The Offense didnt look that bad even with Chad Henne at the helm, even better if it was Bortles though. I expect almost double the wins this year with the add peices (8-8 is a real possibility), but at 19 overall even going 6-10 /7-9 is a fair placing... Shhhhh. Don't tell him and spoil all the fun.
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.
Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say! Quote:I read a few people's Power Rankings stating that the Cardinals are the best team nobody knows about & that's very well possible so I guess I'm one of those people that dont know. What I do know is other than a year they had future HOF K. Warner at the helm this team is a lot like the Bengals (hyped up every year only to collapse). That being said I do have the Bengals as doing really good this year thanks to the Defense being better (pass rush). I don't know. When looking at starting QBs in the NFL, Jay Cutler and Carson Palmer are as average as it gets.

Quote:Power Rankings NFL Week 1 How in the hell do you think that the Donkeys have closed a FIVE TOUCHDOWN difference on the Seahawks? Based on a pre-season game where Seattle didn't even travel 18 players? Try smoking the weed in Seattle, because that stuff you got from Denver is laced with fairy dust and unicorn flatulence. Quote:How in the hell do you think that the Donkeys have closed a FIVE TOUCHDOWN difference on the Seahawks? You know? You don't have to be a butt about it. How about you do your own? A few of the posters took the time to type out their opinion about each team. Nobody went all nasty on the name calling either. Using the teams proper name (Broncos), would probably be less childish as well. Act your real age, not your mental age. Good thread DewtheMathis, when I get the spare time I will see if I can put "my" power rankings together.
Quote:My pre-week 1 Power Rankings would be: I could start with your rankings, and adjust it a little to arrive at mine. I see about four teams I would move up or down more than a few spots. Just off the top, I like the Bills to be a little higher than #31, the Colts to be below the Pats, and the Cowboys to be in the twenties. We show less advertisements to registered users. It was expected with a coaching change from Lovie Smith to offensive minded Marc Trestman, but not that much (in one season they fell from top 3 to bottom 3 in allowed Pts/game). Their run defense was dead last (161,4 yds/game, second worst were Falcons with 135,8). I think they adressed DL needs pretty good in draft with Ugo Ferguson and Will Sutton, they also added Jarred Allen and Lamarr Houston in free agency to improve pass rush (they were tied last with your Jaguars in sacks). In secondary, Charles Tillman is returning after injury and they also drafted Kyle Fuller, so I think their defense will be a lot better this season. If Cutler stays healthy and with all offensive weapons I could see them seriously challenge Packers for NFC North title. Cardinals: I respect them as division rival and the only team that beat us at home in last 2 seasons and don't think they are overrated, but I also don't see them making the playoffs this year. Their defense is for real, however they lost 3 very important players - Dansby (free agency), Dockett (torn ACL) and Daryl Washington (suspension), which will all be hard if not impossible to replace. I see them regres a bit, but they will most likely still be a top 10 defense. On the other side, they improve O-Line, so Carson Palmer should have more time to find Fitz and Floyd. I also expect Andre Ellington to have a good season. Quote:Why do you think it's a weak division for Saints and tough one for Atlanta? It's a tough division for the Falcons because of the Saints. It is an easy division for the Saints because of the Falcons. Would be my guess. ![]() |
