I'm sick of hearing all this phony outpouring of support for Adrian Peterson.  It's tragic the child died, but Peterson was nothing more than a sperm donor.  He never laid eyes on the little boy until he lay dying in the hospital.

Didn't he just find out about the child recently?

I just read he did.  I stand corrected.  I was under the impression that he always knew about the child. Never mind.

I'm surprised it took the baby momma so long...you'd think she'd be screaming for a check before the baby was even born!!

From what I read apparently she was pursuing another guy for child support until a paternity test showed negative.  Then she remembered that one night with Peterson.  She sounds dreamy.

Yeah...let some guy that just moved in watch her baby. Mom of the year winner right there!! Heck...when my son was a baby I had a hard time leaving him at home with my husband and he's his father!!

**Not that I was worried about him doing something...I was just overly protective of him!!**

I miss having babies around.  My wife is ready for grandchildren, I'm not.  29 is just too young.   Wink

Oh, and most importantly, my children aren't either.  Guess I should, you know, kinda mention that.

I'm not either!! I'm way to young to be a grandmother!!

My son just turned 21...pretty soon I'm gonna start telling people my son is from my husbands first marriage!! Either that, or I had a baby at 10!!

How does that work? I know nothing about gambling so all the talk of "points" and the spread have been lost on me this week!!

The spread was 27.5 points. In other words, the Bookies were giving the Jags 27.5 points to the Broncos 0 at the start of the game. The Broncos therefore had to WIN the game by 28 points more then the Jaguars. Since they only won by 16, (35-19) the people that bet on the Jaguars won the bet. And the People that bet on the Broncos lost the bet (even though they won the game) because they didn't cover the spread.

The spread for this weeks game is

San Diego

-7.5

At Jacksonville

So the Bookies are giving us 7.5 points to start and the Chargers have to win by 8 or more points to beat the spread
