Plain and simple, Bradley squandered this game away.

So the drops were his fault in your estimation. Got it.

Quote:If by Gus Bradley you mean Henne then yea, he blew it.
I agree...it's Gus's team...Fisch went pansy on play-calling and Henne proved par at best.  Should have ripped Fisch and directed him to stay aggressive and should have gone to BB.  No guts :/

Henne was bad, but I'm really excited for Bortles. I think this team will be really good once they have their QB.

I am not even mad. This happens to teams with below average quarterbacks. I saw a glimmer of hope in the first quarter for Chad Henne, but that was squandered away by the second half. Things will turn around once Bortles gets in there. Hopefully...

Not going to happen. You know they're going to stick with Henne for his experience.

Just the bad throws, bad decisions and blown timeouts.

Wow...national media is jumping all over the Jags already...laughing, puzzled at conservative 2nd half play, wondering what Henne is doing out there. Only took 5 minutes for the Jags to be the laughing stock of the 2014 season.

This ship needs to be righted.

What drop would fix that.  Henne overthrew to the sideline, threw one in the dirt, threw into coverage, fluttered to Marcedes for the first.  Henne's second half passing was beyond terrible.  yes drops are bad, the inaccuracy by Henne was worse.

Edit:  His long balls were very terrible.

The safeties have up three - that's a problem.  Gus wasn't back there.

I have a big problem with something Gus did that really, really hurt.  No, it wasn't going for it on 4th. That was the right call IMO.

It was right before the Sproles run.  The defense was all out of sorts, it was 4th down - why didnt we call a timeout?  I really hope its because we didnt have any.  There is no excuse for the head coach to not call a timeout there.

Other than that, the big problem was the OL.  Just awful run blocking, which is why Chad was put into 2nd and 3rd and long situations he will never succeed in.  Pass blocking was not bad.

Not worried about the D.  In fact, quite optimistic.  2 TDs were on mental errors (Sproles/Maclin).

I want to see more Todman and Robinson.

Gerhardt needs to play guard or FB.

Whats the big deal here. We were a 10 point underdog, got spotted 17 points and got crushed in the 2nd half. Pretty normal game to me.

That's a really stupid narrative because in my estimation the play calling in the second wasn't conservative enough.  How many first down throws did we have? Too many.  You can't do that with Chad [BLEEP] Henne and hope to win doing that.

Chad Henne had 43 pass attempts, and that was with a massive lead for half of the game.  That's a ridiculous number, for Henne or Bortles.

Typical Jaguar football, for the last forever amount of seasons it seems.
