You should come work in a free country. If you're college educated you could probably get serious tax breaks as well.

Chicken and dumplings. I don't get it. I hear about people talking about "so and so's" chicken and dumplings are the best.

They aren't my favorite thinks either...the dumplings just taste like plain old dough to me...nothing special.

I think chicken and dumplings are one of those "comfort foods" that everyone's mom or grandma made that reminds you of home. It's more of what the meal invokes than the actual goodness of the food.


Other than my grandmothers chicken and dumplings of course! Hers were the bomb!! :thumbsup:

Someone decided to break into my workshop last night and help themselves to a bunch of my power tools. To add insult to injury, they smashed the window to the door....and it wasn't locked.

It really sucks. I live in what I'd consider a pretty 'upscale' neighborhood. But I guess it doesn't really matter when it comes down to it. Not the first time something like this has happened in the neighborhood...or to me, for that matter. The thing is, I probably know about when it happened because the dogs were barking and wanted to go out. But that, in itself, isn't all that unusual. The land in back of me is pretty much undeveloped and I have critters in the yard most nights (and days).
