If Luck, Rg3, And Wilson Was In Aprils Draft Where Would Bridgewater Be Ranked?
|
Just want to see where you guys would rank them if they all came out together.
Bases on their last season in college. Not their success in the NFL. College only. Would it be Luck Wilson Bridgewater RG3 We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Luck, Bridgewater, rg3, wilson
Wasn't that high on rg3. Thought he was a second rounder. Don't really see how most people could put Wilson anywhere but last. He went in the 3rd round and there wasn't much protest. But I can sort of see it now that people are getting over their fixation for a tall quarterback. Seriously though, is there really an advantage to being tall anymore? Doesn't it generally just make you less mobile?
Luck
Teddy RG3 Wilson I wasn't that high on RG3 either. If Blackmon can stay out of trouble I would rather Blackmon than RG3.
I still want RGIII pre-injury over Luck. I would put him in a pocket passing more conventional offense and let him loose. He's misused in that offense in Washington and all it's done is get him hurt. He is capable of running a more conventional pocket passer style offense and running it well. He's athletic, sure, but not every athletic QB has to play in a run option style of offense. My opinion is RGIII has all the tools to be an Elite level passer but he's never going to see that potential in Shannahan's offense.
Give me: 1a) RGIII 1b) Bridgewater 2) Luck 3) Wilson It may not be conventional opinion but those are my thoughts. I would even consider switching Luck and Wilson. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

A good question to think about is what if Peyton Manning had rg3s athleticism? Would he still play like Peyton Manning?
That's a good question. I don't know what Peyton's signature style would be. The Peyton-RG3 fusion would probably be a more athletic version of Aaron Rodgers.
And to answer the OP question: 1. Luck - still the most pro ready qb in the last 15 years 1b. RG3 - I know the Teddy fanatics will disagree, but I stand firm on this. RG3 wasn't regarded as a great prospect as Luck because he was as pro readiness but because of his potential and high ceiling. Even though he's isn't playing up to his potential right now because the Redskins are a bad overall team -- what they gave up to get him and their cap penalties -- and his major surgery still affecting him. But I'm willing to bet anyone here that he will have just as good, if not better, season than Sam Bradford. 3. Bridgewater -- second pro readiness prospect after Luck. 4. Wilson -- not sure why he was put on here with those other three because he was selected in the 3rd round. He wasn't considered a great prospect, otherwise he would have gone in the first round.
Based on their last season in college? I'm not sure Wilson should even be in this conversation given he was a third round pick -- though he should have been a first rounder.
But anyways... 1. Luck 2. Bridgewater 3. Griffin III 4. Wilson We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Quote:1. Luck Pretty much in line with my rankings so ill just quote this and use as my answer as well. While i believe RG3's mental aspect to be a bit underrated its not on the level of Luck and Bridgewater. RG3 has the better arm IMO of the 3 but its not utilized as well and he plays too reckless. I just feel the poise and control of Luck / Bridgewater just put them in a different class of QB prospect.
Luck and Bridgewater have three years of experiences playing under center. As prospects, they are ahead of RG3 in that regard. However, RG3 will be just fine.

The only reason Wilson wasn't a 1st round pick was because of his height. That's the only thing that scared teams off.
He has everything else you want in a QB, just doesn't have ideal height. But look at him now...

I would rather state the question as their current market value:
1 Luck 2 Wilson 3 Bridgewater 4 RG3 Quote:Your criteria is "based on the last season in college" loooooooool
On Wisconsin.
