Quote:How did that workout for Detroit? Does that change the fact that he was traded for?
There is too much young talent at WR for someone like Shorts to get a second contract IF he isn't on the field. He needs to find a way to stay healthy, otherwise, he is gone.

Quote:Does that change the fact that he was traded for? Dude stop it, no one is trading for an average injury prone receiver, if you truly believe that then you'r truly an idiot.

Quote:Nobody thought anyone would take Gabbert either.. Blaine Gabbert is a former top 10 pick with elite physical tools, the guy that traded for him as an ego bigger than Texas, it's apples to oranges. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Quote:The guy has no heart. Not even the 4th best option on this team (Robinson, Hurns, Lee, Lewis are all better). Waste of a roster spot; he will be out of the league within 2 years. I don't know about all that. But we definitely have other options now.
I just wish he would stay healthy.... Id hate to see him leave and do well like alot of the players we have let go. But if he was just to disappear then it was worth letting him go.

Quote:What's your deal? No one is trading for Cecil Shorts. You're right.. Just cut him without even trying.. You should go play defense for this team, you'll fit right in..

Maybe they've tried to trade Shorts and got no takers. Nobody knows if they have tried. I am guessing that there is not much interest in an injury prone average receiver.
Quote:You're right.. Just cut him without even trying.. You should go play defense for this team, you'll fit right in.. Who said cut him? The Jaguars simply won't resign him, no one is going to trade for Cecil Shorts because he'll be a free agent, he's also average and can't stay on the field.
