Could a loss today start to make the seat a little warm for Gus Bradley?

Gus and Dave may be safe, but the coordinators are not.

I expect and want them to look into upgrading the defensive coaching staff.

I don't understand why Gus is here if we need to hire other coordinators to come in and help call the defense.

Maybe he could do better calling the plays.  But he's said repeatedly that the plays are not the problem, it's the execution of the plays.

Quote:I don't understand what Jon Harbaugh even brings to the table?  He doesn't do offense and their defense is a shell of its former self.  They made the one super bowl run after firing their OC mid-season and honestly got lucky.

Jim at least brings his offensive acumen to the table.  I'll take Jim over Jon.

Well they are 3-1 this year. They've made the playoffs all but one year. He won a Super Bowl with Joe Flacco at QB.

Whatever he is bringing to the table, it's working.

I think it's a combination of having both incapable players and a very vanilla scheme.  There is really nothing we do that confuses offenses.  It's very Del-Rio like before he went to Denver and suddenly got creative.

The only difference between this scheme and Del Rio's scheme when he was here; he played primarly cover 2 and this is cover 3.  Other than that it's very similar.  We rush four and try to prevent the big play... emphasis on the word TRY.

I think Bradley is starting to question Khan's patience to be patient.

Couple questionable challenges but I agree the problem is the execution not the call.

I don't think Gus is or should be on the hot seat

There's no reason Gus should be safe right now.  Not after this game. His pants should be starting to get a little toasted.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

0-10 at the bye should be the end of the Bradley era. It won't be but it should be.

Don't coaches typically count on their booth personnel to guide them on challenges?

I'll bet the jet will be firing up if that's the case.

Those challenges, especially the second one was just dumb.

That I can't agree with.  What are you going to do, put Fisch as interim coach?  Babich?

I agree that Gus shouldn't be safe at the end of the year.  His job should be like Alex Trebec -- in Jeopardy. He deserves a chance to turn it around though.  He needs to be fired up right now, not Fired.  At the end of the season, and things look no better?  Then.

He will have been given plenty of time to turn it around by that point.

Firing Gus in only year two is stupid. Just stupid. The irrationality. Wallbash

So, was firing Mularkey in year before year 2 stupid?

So you'd be okay with Fisch or Babich as the interim coach?

It wouldn't matter, we would be on the way to finding our permanent HC. I would love for it not to get to 0-10 though.
