I'm not and never have said he's better...but up to this point and after 4 games he is better... will that continue... only time will tell...

hurns is great. you are what your stats and record say you are. and so far it says hurns can take the top off a defense in a way the rest of the recievers haven't yet.   can a rob or lee do the same down the road. I certainly hope so.  but im tired of talking about potential.  hurns has done it.

Allen Robinson comparison: Jordy Nelson- Like Nelson Allen Robinson lacks the elite speed to consistently get behind defenders, but compensates with outstanding size, vertical explosion (42 inch vert at his pro day), and dynamic YAC ability.  Robinson has a chance to be an elite receiver as he develops, there aren't too many corners that will be able to cover him, the back shoulder fade should be unstoppable as both Bortles and Robinson build rapport.

ok, you're entitled to an opinion.  but 4 weeks of a season doesn't tell the whole story

www.psulions247sports.com lists the top 5 PSU WRs that played in the NFL as follows:

1. Bobby Engram

2. OJ McDuffie

3. Joe Jerovicious

4. Bryant Johnson

5. tie:  Kenny Jackson & Michael Timpson

For that reason alone, I'll put my money on Allen Hurns.

The U WRs:

1. Michael Irvin

2. Reggie Wayne

3. Andre Johnson

4. Eddie Brown

5. Santana Moss

Well this is dumb.

If we go by your logic, we shouldn't want Bortles because of how many UCF QBs can't even make the league!

Hurns has shown me more than Lee. If you take out draft status and his "potential", Lee would be sitting behind Shorts and Sanders as far as receivers goes.

Quote:hurns is nothing more than a guy we are liking to root for. I think everyone watching the games without teal colored glasses understands Hurns is getting open through opponents mistakes and pure luck catching the ball rather than his own skill.

This is where Robinson and Lee differ, They make contested catches and catch the ball with precision.

PS: This isn't to say hurns can't evolve into what Lee/Robinson are. just saying Lee/Robinson is currently better
sometimes luck is better than skill and will carry the day.... as long as you don't count on it too often.

I y'ams who I y'ams and thats all I y'ams...
