"NFL scout freaked out by trait of Louisville's Teddy Bridgewater"

"Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, if he gets angry, he's a mile away and barefoot."
Quote:"NFL scout freaked out by trait of Louisville's Teddy Bridgewater" Yea already read that bogus report earlier. Probably a scout trying to scare the Jags away. His complaint is that he wears gloves so he MIGHT have small hands lol. Despite his crazy good accuracy and lack of fumbles.

Teddy leaves because he realized tonight his defense would get mauled by fsu and clemson in the ACC. If he didn't have his mind made up before, it is after this last game.
Quote:It is a slight concern. Hopefully its nothing to stop a team from doing its due diligence. How is it even a slight concern? The scout doesn't even KNOW if he has small hands. He just says "sometimes it means that"

Quote:How is it even a slight concern? The scout doesn't even KNOW if he has small hands. He just says "sometimes it means that" That's the slight concern. The unknown. Come combine time if his hands measure up then it will no longer be a concern at all.

He had great accuracy and has no fumbling issues.mLet him wear gloves in the NFL. It's not a Tyler Wilson situation where he had small hands AND fumbled a bunch. Teddy has stated the reason he wears loves is because he likes being able to have the same feel for the ball no matter how wet/cold his hands are.

He was using towels to wipe off his hands prompting them to make a comment on it. One thing that makes hand size important is that you have to consider the larger footballs used in the NFL vs NCAA. Again it may be a non issue but until scouts have definitive numbers it will be something they wonder about.

Quote:Aren't NFL and NCAA footballs the same size? Pretty much. There is a slight different in shape which gives it a negligble difference in circumference. Dude is reaching to reach though.

Quote:I'm sure people still have a "slight concern" over Russell Wilson's height. Now probably not but it did cause him to slip in the draft. Had it not been for his height he could have easily gone in the top 10. He was probably the most pro ready QB in the draft besides Luck.

It's crazy how people will reach for a reason to not draft Teddy. He really is flawless, other than a lack of deep ball accuracy.
LEONARD FOURNETTE FAN CLUB PRESIDENT. I WAS BEHIND HIM WHEN YOU ALL SAID HE WAS BRANDON JACOBS. QUIT HATING ON THE JAGUARS. GUS IS GONE. COUGHLIN HAS RESTORED ORDER. FOURNETTE IS FRED TAYLOR. DONT BELIEVE ME JUST WATCH.

If the 2012 Draft was done all over, based on what's known about that draft crop through close to 1 1/2 seasons, my guess is Russell Wilson would easily be a top 5 pick. He probably would be a top 3 pick.

I would definitely take Andrew Luck # 1 if given a choice of the 3 great QB's from last year's draft. For me, it would be a difficult choice between RGIII and Russell Wilson for the # 2 spot. As much as I like RGIII, my concern is his style of play is going to shorten his career. Russell Wilson seems to avoid contact and live for another down better than RGIII has displayed. A strong case can be made that the Seahawks have the best all around roster in the NFL. They are deep at most positions. Yet, there's only one player they absolutely can't afford to lose: Russell Wilson. |
