Florida State Vs. Clemson

They have two great teams. I wonder if the voters will ever allow two top ACC teams to compete for the national championship. Has that ever happened before?

The only time two teams from the same conference played for the national title, they were Alabama and Auburn. Two ACC teams would be a first.

Of course, the winner of this game will need Oregon, Alabama, or Ohio State to lose . . .

I'm pretty sure Alabama played LSU for the national championship two years ago.

Personally if FSU or Clemson run the table. Neither will need OSU to lose. The winner this weekend will jump OSU next week. With FSU they got Miami and Florida left. Clemson has Miami in the bowl game probably and South Carolina if they win out.

That in my mind is enough to jump those chumps. OSU always plays a sorry schedule. I'm tired of seeing them in contention for the National title and never show up.

I assume you mean ACC Championship Game. Bowl games are rarely matchups of two teams in the same conference because the BCS tries to avoid that.

Actually one of these teams is already ranked higher than OSU in the AP poll. OSU is the team standing between FSU and Clemson. That is why I am not sure if it matters.
