Mike Evans is a BEAST

#1

4 TD through 3 quarters, 215 yards on 6 receptions.

Bailed Manziel out on like 5 terrible tossup passes.

Catches everything just like him. He's bigger though.

He's one of those guys you hope have a bad combine and pushes down his draft stock so you can snag them later.

So you're saying pass on our needs and draft a position of strength with our top 5 pick?

Logically, that's not possible.

logically it is possible since we will have a top 3 pick.

I said LOGICALLY.  There is no logic in the Jaguars taking a wide receiver with a top three pick when it is arguably our most sound position at the moment.

Not quite as fast as and a good bit more physical than Vjax. More like David Boston. Which is quite a complement Boston was a monster until his brain turned to mush.

Lot of season left, but I think Evans has solidified himself as the top receiver in the 2014 draft and may go top 10.

...unless Sammy Watkins really lights it up the next couple months.

I had Watkins rated as my top WR but reports are Mike Evans will clock in the high 4.4s if not faster.  If this is the case he is my number 1 WR.

Quote:

Evans has great size at 6-4, 232 and underrated athleticism. He should vertical around 37-38 inches and clock in the high 4.4s, if not faster. He also has fantastic hands and toughness. He also was a dominant player in the toughest conference in college football. Evans, though, is still raw as a route runner. After all he was really just a basketball player till his senior year of high school. He is getting some expert coaching right now while doing one-on-one training with Hall of Famer James Lofton. Another thing to keep in mind: Evans is still only 20 and won't turn 21 till late August.

I watched him a lot and was disappointed with his last 3 games. He could not separate.
