Forbes TV guy said CBS is raking in money off their package and carrying the games. Live sports are one of the last DVR proof advertising bastions.

Fans deserve better. Thanks for all the good times too many are in the past.

Quote:Just for the record, that last TD throw was terrible. I know his stats say otherwise, but luck is definitely an average QB. You cant watch him and really think otherwise.

I love our so called "average" QB. It is awesome to win.

I was very interested, but looking for it in NFL at large.

I hardly ever go I to the AFC south section. It's pretty gay if you ask me.

By "gay" I mean "uncool" so go ahead and ban me roller flag

Edit, keeps changing that word to flag...? Whatev

Bortles (due to escape ability) could throw for 400 yds against these Texans.   I think we could split with them on the season.

Why? We are winning the same as we would with Manning. And Manning wont play much more than a few years.

I'm really happy for you. It doesn't change anything I said though, but I'm certainly glad you love him.

If you would have hung on to Manning, your team could have benefited from the "RG3 trade" and imagine the talent you could have put around Manning with those picks. You basically swapped a HOF QB for a good QB who will never get you into an AFCC game.

Yeah your welcome to your opinion. One of the very select few who hold your belief. Most people employed in the NFL already see him as an elite QB. But you Mr. message board guy with no nfl experience says no. Jealousy is a nasty emotion.

Why would I be jealous of mediocrity? If you were taking about Russell Wilson or something then I'd say yeah, wish we had him.

But we have Blake who has plenty of potential. No use crying over spilled milk.

The so called media guys you talk about who prop him up were talking about how nice his spirals were and showed replays of his throws in the first half. 3/4 throws they showed were off the mark.

It helps them make money to prop a guy up and have people tune in for the hype.

I still can't believe tinhorns went Clowney with the 1st pick. They will live to regret that one for a long time.

LOL, not with Fisch calling the offense....maybe with a real NFL OC like Norv Turner or something....

I'd seriously be surprised if Bortles even tops 300 yards this season. Not that he's not capable....he's CAPABLE of 400 yards, but I really don't see us ever letting Bortles that freedom to sling it deep that much.
