WEEK 6 - News/Notes/Tweets Etc.

Quote:The tweet surely made it sound as if there was still some doubt as to which of them were starting. It said Bradley was "leaning" towards McCray. IMO, after McCray played well -again- last Sunday, there should be no "leaning" towards McCray at this point, the answer out of Bradleys mouth should have been a decisive "McCray's the starter Sunday, period, because he's earned it" Period. If you're in a position of leadership, you will be respected more with decisions made with conviction rather than wishy washy. Theres really no reason for Bradley to be still leaving the door open for a Gratz start for Sunday, which his tweet suggested.

You are the textbook definition of armchair quarterback. You are a cliche and you may not even know it.

Gus Bradley actually did have a conviction about McCray, but he wanted to double-check before naming Gratz the backup/nickel.

can't say i disagree with that reaction.

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

Its apparent JW doesn't know the definition of doing something with "conviction".

I think Gus Bradley already knew before Wednesday's practice who his starting running back should be or had a gut feeling Storm is that guy.

Don't know - but the shape of his head looks like Garrard - who did attend several practices and a game last year.

Hire him for assistant quarterback coach!

They kind-of already have two QB coaches in Scelfo and Fisch.  Fisch is a former QB coach and judging from videos of practice and fans posting about open practices - Fisch spends A LOT of time coaching the quarterbacks.

Adding DG might make it too many cooks in the kitchen.

OK I thought Fisch had only one job title and Scelfo is doing all the QBC work.

what credentials do you know of david garrard that would make you clamor for him to be an assistant qb coach?

Being one of the best quarterbacks in team history. But I actually would prefer Mark Brunell for the job if he was right-handed.
